So the pms kit wasnt working on the stock dampers, they have too much droop regardless of camber it fouled badly. I had to take it to a garage to get it off because the spacers had been squashed and bent, wouldnt budge easily
I got this japspeed kit for an S15 which has the same taper and...
I have bump steer adjustment rod ends but its bent the bottom spacer between the rose joint and the nut. Ive managed to make around 1-2mm of clearance but the spacer isnt budging, ive tried to hit the edge that seems to be the part thats stopping it from moving but not much luck.
Ill probably...

Such a beast. It has an led on the front as well which I end up using as my main light source when its dark haha
A while ago I started measuring some spacers for the throttle pedal to bring it closer and more inline to the brake pedal. Im going to continue this once the brake lines are fitted and also work on the steering wheel position which needs to be far closer than it is now, a quick release and a...
Its running stock camber now and the rod ends are still fouling. Ive bought some spacers but I cant get the end out as its bent the bottom spacer so will have to come back to that. Im looking at Jap speed nissan tie ends instead as I think they fit. Rod end is m14 1.5 and upright bolt is m12...
Current jobs to do
Sprayed these in the shed and it was far too cold but I cant be bothered now so ACF and leave it
ECP 50% off. Decided to get them for being so cheap but the plan is to use scenic rear hubs and the callipers which are on most of the renaults. They are the same for...
Thanks! I will write up in full once everything's set up better. So far though its made a lot of difference, toe out and -1.6 cam with spacers it was handling potholes/bumps real good
This bolt wouldnt budge but that was no problem for the new makita
New dampers. I took the shocks out 2x and spring as well, did the rear springs and some other bits and bobs, used the gun 4 days in a row and the 4ah battery lasted all that!
I need to spray the others this is just silly...
This had been bugging for ages but I the n/s wouldnt budge
Absolute animal, destroys everything in its path and pours smoke out of the socket after its done haha. Wouldnt of been able to do half the stuff without this, well it would of been 10x more energy and time..
Each damper had a...
Ph1 horn stalk
I had been running ds2500 on the standard calipers for a bit and circumstances allowed me to do the 4pot brembo conversion with ds1.11!
I rebuilt and painted them myself, all new seals and luckily only 1 piston needed to be changed
I went for just a gloss black finish that...
So after many years, the time was 'right' to get the car I had wanted for some while. I have owned a 1.2 and 1.6 mk2 clio and just liked the idea of the more sporty version. We went and picked up a standard FF 182 from an odd looking dealership in Oxford, it was basically a farm. If that didnt...
If the oz’s fit at that offset then just get a spacer that brings out the rotas to the same track width? Sure the weight of the wheel would be in a different place but the contact position is exactly the same. Just an idea I’m sure (know) there’s science behind it but for Clio speeds it surely...
That stuff copes with the heat alright? I got some recently and drown everything in it, its amazing. Gonna get the grease for bearings/joints from them as well
Although overtaking old buggers asleep at the wheel at 7k is quite amusing haha, many main beam flashes and im sure much huffs an moaning was the result
(dont hold up traffic you inconsiderate grumpy gits)
I have one from them for the 182 and theres no mot problem. Although Id use new oem fitting kits with it as the ones on there are already buggered and its basically open header and sounds crap
Has worked fine for me so far though. I plan on getting a decat anyway as they are cheap
Reminds me of this old joke
A burglar broke into a house one night. He shined his flashlight around, looking for valuables when a voice in the dark said, 'Jesus knows you're here.'
He nearly jumped out of his skin, clicked his flashlight off, and froze. When he heard nothing more, he shook his...
