Thanks. Im going to bleed with the engine running today, I had fully bled the car yesterday with it off and no air came through at all, so hoping this will sort it
Haha yeah I had that happen yesterday, the problem is I cant really leave the car with all my tools out to go inside and look...
I picked up the bleed kit and got 5l of fluid just now but im not sure whats going on with the weather, if its dry tomorrow day then ill do it but will see. Thanks for the advice ill report back once its done
After a couple of bleeds on my new brembo setup for my 182, the pedal is still soft most of the time, will stiffen up after loads of pumps but will go back to soft. No air was leaving the callipers when I did the last bleed. After reading some threads and speaking to George who supplied me some...
I have only replaced the engine top mount and the dog bone bushing with the black powerflex, but its a big difference for the better, gears are lot smoother and engine responds quicker. If its a race car then im sure you are not bothered about noise and vibration, because its pretty bad. The...
Whats the best way to get to the area around the bores sanded without any damage to the actual bores? Does it have to be smooth or can it just be mildly sanded and clean? What about pitting? I try to go over it light with fine grit but it can make it worse. Its all the underneath so will never...
Thanks for all the info, Im going to pick up a kit and do them all, ive seen the guides on the rebuild and its literally just getting the pistons out because of no tools thats holding me back. @JamesBryan Thanks, Ive seen this done, its just the pistons are pushed back in so its getting to them...
So I have some 4 pots to put on the 182 soon, but a couple of the seals have some small tears on them, apart from that all of them look in great condition so is it perfectly fine just to replace the 2 that are a bit buggered and not the lot?
Can someone point me in the direction to using a...
Right so flushed 2 times with water+tablet and its getting clearer but I screwed up (no pun intended) and have done some of the thread in the bleed hole and its kinda just leaking ever so slightly, ive managed to tighten a tiny bit before it goes loose again and its stopped but I dont trust it...
So decided that I wanted to get a more 'stealth' look and found that the dci trim was black, thought the 182 would look good with that.
Bare with on the terrible lighting, I used a go pro knockoff type thing and its just impossible to see whats going on with the exposure
Airbag...
Looking at these on ebay for 150, got a 15% discount so £127 but doesnt look the pads would be covering a good portion of the discs compared to the pms ones

Ive been meaning to take a picture of this because no clue what they actually called but ive stolen a picture to show
What is this actually called and where can i get new ones? The n/s is actually round the other side of the chassis with no bolt and its bent, but its solid and doesnt move...
Yeah I did not flush through the block so thats pretty much it tbf. Thanks for the heads up, I should be fine next time. The thing is I have never done any of this sort of thing ever and i get all the instructions on here or google/youtube but everyone explains is slightly different and I end up...
so it definitely is a full 7 litres? Cause i only managed under 5 litres... Dont know how over 2 litres was still in there tbf. As I said earlier, dont know if ill need to get more coolant now : /
Thanks for the info @bloke
I think i am gonna get the hoses now, might aswell get it done this time round instead of waiting till next flush or wasting the coolant
Just an update, had the engine mount bushing in for a bit now and since tuesday had the vibra technics upper gearbox mount! Decided to splash out cause of some good circumstances :smile:havnt had time to fit the dogbone bushes in yet but so far the car is really good and more responsive...
So i did a coolant flush yesterday and everything seemed okay, i ran a house through the system until the rad was poring out completely clear water. But obvsiously ive not flushed it enough or through some of the necessary hoses, cause even though when I topped it up with the fresh type d and it...
I got these ones, they aint black but theres 50 of them. Kinda like the contrast of colour tbf

Is this a straight forward swap? How is it held into place? I see people swap out the numbers for the 172 version before so this shouldnt be to bad. What about the needles or is that more hassle?
Thanks
Cheers guys. Gonna be buying the mounts and bushes tomorrow
One thing though cause I do have the engine bush fitted, anyone had much less engine braking with it in? The engine revs smoother without sort of jolts or bangs now but yeah there's like at least 50% less
Think im just gonna get the vibra techs one now. Was gonna be getting the pms rear arb tomorrow but gonna get all the bushes and what not instead, probably better than things are fresh and new first
