Okay do I need a special plug spanner? I have a normal one you can get in halfords... As I say my old clio required a special long one. Also how long does it take roughly to do?

So happiness never lasts for long. My car has a starting issue. Best way to describe would be....
I turn the key (after waiting for all lights to go out, religious about that!) then it will begin to start, but immediately stall? I then turn key again and it'll start first time with no issues...
The ride is no less comfortable then standard tbh. Over really horrendous roads its bumpy, but over normal roads with your average pot holes.... It's not far off of standard! And my god, it's so planted now through bends and stuff. No body roll which is fantastic! They've transformed the car
So after picking up a set of cooksport lowering springs for £100, this is what the car now looks like! :) , (pictures are pretty crap unfortunately, but only have my iPhone as a camera :( better ones will follow!)
They're absolutely superb, couldn't reccomend them high enough.

Anybody have any ideas? I've cleaned all of the oil off of the surface and am trying to locate where the leak is coming from. Is there a common place anywhere? Just worrying me as its the gearbox area.
This is the best way about it yeah? How long roughly would it take? I'm no mechanic but I will have a mate helping out and we aren't the worst in the world at things like this!

I've jacked the car up and there appears to be a lot of gearbox oil on the gear selector itself where is this likely to be leaking from? I don't know whether its relevant but the car is making noises in 5th gear and when going from 4th - 5th it makes a High pitch squeak.

I need to change my sump gasket as I believe it's leaking. I've jacked the car up and had a look and the subframe appears to be in the way of half the bolts. What's the best way around this problem?

Well managed to get them undone with a buzz gun! Finally.....!
Does anybody know the torque settings for the bolts on the bottom of the strut? Or is it okay to just do up as tight as I can?
It is yeah. It's gone all funny because I've soaked my top mounts in wd40 since last Tuesday to try and loosen it up a bit and they've gone all weird because of the WD. Il just change them to KTR mounts sometime lol.
Trying with an impact gun tomorrow. I've honestly never had this much trouble removing a bolt before in my life. Unbelievable how tight it is.
Also it's done this.... Got bored of bending tools, so it killed itself

Lol, know the top of rydes hill is Belmont avenue? At the top of there mate :p there'll be a silver fiesta zetec S on the driveway and my clio on the road outside. Surprised I haven't seen you around before with those mods as it sounds a very distinct car. What spacers are you running? Wouldn't...
