Sounds good to me mate! Where are you based again?

    Black and green ex-extreme 1.2 16v

Looking better mate. You should get some clean new numberplates on it IMO with a 3/4 front plate. Would tidy it up well. :)

I shall get one up today or over the weekend ;)

    Arctic Blue Clio 182 FF

I'm not to sure at the minute. I might end up taking out the two back boxes and getting it converted into one with some new tips. That will be later in the year though as the alloys and lowering it are the next steps I think :)

just my clio 182 first pics ive uploaded, what you think??

Nice one mate. If you need any advice or ever fancy a small meet or a few 182's to drive around with let me know. Cone the weekend there will be myself and 2 mates with 182's, each in a different colour :)

    Arctic Blue Clio 182 FF

Thanks guys. I got my cat back and they have fitted the new pipe so that it's just a case of unscrewing a few bolts to get the cat back in. It cost me £70 to get done as my mates regularly use the same place, but otherwise would have cost £90. Luckily my generous friend paid half towards it to...

    Mike's 182 FF

Looks amazing! My mate is buying a 182 at the weekend. Going to recommend that he gets this colour! Really smart 182 though man :)

Enjoyed reading through this thread. I understand going mad with your first car. I plastered mine in stickers and stuff as it was cheap and easy. I wouldn't change anything I did because it was fun, unique and made me smile. I now own a 182 that I'm chuffed with and look after properly. Do what...

Nice car mate. Looks really nice when clean in that first picture. Exhaust sounds sweet to! You from Birmingham?

    Arctic Blue Clio 182 FF

Thanks mate. Yeah I am dude. I'm really impatient and luckily I have some Christmas money begging to be spent on the car lol. I think next I'm going to get the alloys refurbished and resprayed followed by some 40mm apex springs to get it sitting nice. I can't help you with the gear knob...

    Arctic Blue Clio 182 FF

Today I was driving around with my mate and I mentioned to him about getting a de-cat for my car. His reply was "Lets go. Get it done today and I will pay half towards it." Not a bad deal, so.. on impusle.. we went to an exhaust place not far from where I live and I got my car de-catted. Some...

    Numberplate Light Cover

Yeah I've got the LED Light in. They look brilliant! Just need to get the plastic cover cleaned :)

    High pitched sound from speakers

It didn't solve it unfortunately. Think it's blown pretty badly, but it's covered under warranty so getting repaired at the moment. Car audio centre ftw!

    Arctic Blue Clio 182 FF

Yeah it's fairly easy. It can be a bit fiddly at times, but just use a hair dryer to soften the wrap and it makes it easy to pull over whatever you're wrapping. You can buy it from eBay fairly cheap, just search for 'carbon vinyl'. I recently paid £5 for 1520mm x600mm of the stuff, but it...

    Arctic Blue Clio 182 FF

Thanks mate, I do love the colour as well especially when it's clean. The paint is in really good condition to. I like making the car my own as do most people. Might look at a few basic performance mods soon, but nothing major. Just a de-cat, air flow and that really. :)

I was going to offer to buy them and ship them for you if you were to pay postage, but I've just looked and they're sold out. Will keep my eyes open for you mate.

The number plate light isn't a problem with the police really mate.

    High pitched sound from speakers

I've just been driving around and when picking up speed the high pitched sound gets louder as I put on more revs in each gear. Will try your suggestion tomorrow though and hopefully all will be fixed :)

    Arctic Blue Clio 182 FF

Thanks dude! I brought them on eBay, but picked them up as they were based local. They're a place that sell ex-stock from places like Argos. Just had to buy a bit of extra cable and wire them up to the interior light. Just had a quick look for you and they have 2 sets left for £5.99 delivered...

    Arctic Blue Clio 182 FF

Yesterday I brought and fitted a Sony 1200w 2 Channel Amp that looks smart and powers my component speakers really well. I have also carbon wrapped the front speaker covers. Will get pictures up in the next few days. :)

    Numberplate Light Cover

Yeah, £9 delivered isn't bad really. I might try cleaning mine first though as its just the cover that's dirty on mine.
  22. chapperzuk

    led bulbs

Yeah, same here mate. I have an 05 plate 182 as well. I presumed he meant the interior 'boot light' and not the numberplate one.
  23. chapperzuk

    High pitched sound from speakers

Thanks mate, really appreciate it. Will give it a try tomorrow and let you know how I get on. :)

    High pitched sound from speakers

I have a bit of speaker cable on the RCA outer shell at the moment, but it's not connected to anything the other end. That's eliminated most of the noise. If I were to earth the other end, do you think it will eliminate it completely?
  25. chapperzuk

    High pitched sound from speakers

Yeah mate, it's a Pioneer head unit. Is there any way of fixing it? Would this be a result of something I've done?
  26. chapperzuk

    Numberplate Light Cover

Thanks for the advice guys! :)
  27. chapperzuk

    Fitting component speakers

Me and my mate decided to cut the wires behind the head unit as it was easier than wiring it through to the door. My amp is in the boot and we just ran cables from behind the head unit to the amp. The cross over boxes... one is stuck with velcro up on the right hand side of the glove box and the...

    High pitched sound from speakers

Oh, no it's just in the boot stuck down to the boot mat with velcro.

    Numberplate Light Cover

Thanks guys, does t21ads sell them? I might either try cleaning mine with bleach if not, just buy one for £9.00 or from t21ads if he sells just the cover.
