I've only ever had one bad experience on Gumtree when a guy sold me a dodgy Xbox. I've bought and sold a lot of stuff on there over the years though, including my 182.
Looks great man, really nice photos. Look after her ;)
Look forward to seeing your progress. You will have to stick a video up once you get a new exhaust system. :)
This here is the car I recently sold on. I've just spotted that it's been advertised on Gumtree using my pictures, claiming it has a 'Pioneer Head Unit' as in the photos too. It might just be a case of they have used my pictures... or they may not even have a 182 for sale. The guy I sold it to...
Great write up, awesome pictures and incredible roads. I need to take a driving trip to Scotland! Do you have a link to the Google maps route at all mate? :)
I'm on my fourth Clio now. Started off with a 1.2 litre, then a 1.4 litre, then a 2.0 litre 182. Now I have a R27 (Clio 197 F1). Clio's are all I've ever owned!
For me, I've always liked the shape of them and they're just fun to drive. Handling is great and they're fairly cheap for what you...
Haha, thanks mate. They honestly don't stand out all that much from the distance. Chances are they will end up getting robbed in a car park at some point though.
Will have to look into it mate. Still not sure whether to go with metal pressed plates or not yet. I have just subscribed to your project thread too, car looks great. :)
Thanks mate. Where would you recommend ordering the plates from? I've ordered from Craigs Plates in the past for pressed metal plates, but have also been told about Fancy Plates.
I've been ordering a few bits and bobs online this week...
New, shorter aerial...
ITG Panel Filter...
New numberplate bulb holders and LED bulbs...
I'm going to be looking at ordering some new plates soon. Possibly pressed metal plates or just plain normal plates without any...
I like the look of them, but I do find them useful if you want a bit of fresh air in the car whilst it's raining, without getting soaked. It also keeps the wind out of your face too when the windows are down or at least they did when I had some fitted in the 182.
So today I received my wind deflectors in the post. Took me 10 minutes to fit them both and it seemed to go really easy. I will find out if they're secure on my next drive with the windows down I suppose. Really happy with how they look though. :)
I also received my ClioSport.net sticker in the...
I would highly recommend the Optoma projectors. I used to own a 720p one (I forget the model number) and that was superb. That was quite a while ago, so I'd imagine the 1080p ones are even better now.
You have to move your finger over the area you want colour if using a smartphone. There is a colour and grey tool at the bottom. You can change the brush size and other bits too.
