That's exactly the reason I'm brutally honest when people on here ask if they should shoot a wedding with 'non pro' gear. It's just not designed for the job.
Oh and Brazo...that shot is epic too.
I applied G1 the other day, obviously it's not as easy as RainX, but it wasnt that bad to apply.
I'm probably the only bugger in the UK who wants a bit of rain now lol! I want to see if it works as well as I've seen on others cars.
I applied the G1 stuff to the car yesterday evening. And the one time I actually want a bit of rain, now it looks like its going to be sunny!!
It was a bit tougher to remove than I thought. It certainly wasn't as easy as in the little demo video on their site.
I guess when it rains next it'll...
Right guys, received my G1 sealant kit this morning. I'll have a to at it this evening BUT I have one more question.
After applying everything, and then using the G2 to remove the residue, would using a microfibre to buff be too aggressive? Is that why they recommend a cotton cloth?
I do...
Cheers, I'll never stray from my 'don't buy cheap s**t' policy again. Lesson learned.
Ordered a new head unit just now, hopefully this one will be the dogs!
If you do it properly, and not what most people pass for stripping by removing the back seats, then yes it does make a big difference......IF YOU DO IT PROPERLY!!!
Also, does anyone know if I can simply take it back to Halfords as I'm not happy with it? Or does there have to be a fault for them to accept it?
Am I stuck with it basically?!
Sorry.....another ICE question!
Since updating my old Blaupunkt unit to something a bit more modern, a Sony CDX-GT560 unit....I've not been very impressed with the sound since fitting.
This evening I had the dash off the car, so I could easily do a quick comparison....using the same CD...
I've changed the headunit yes.
I don't really need super duper speakers to be honest, it's not the sort of car for that....and you can barely hear them anyway!
Just want to spend a little bit upgrading the super crap stock ones.
And if you mean with Burpspeed, yes I'll be there :)
My Dad might be able to help me out, as he could sweet talk a supplier who we work with.
f**k paying the price of a brand new diffuser though!
It's not an urgent job at all, just another little cosmetic mod. I'll if my Dad can sort anything out first. Thanks
Basically I'm looking to update my dated front interior speakers to something a bit more modern.
There only 10cm in size, so the options are pretty limited BUT....I notice that I can either get a 2-way coaxial or 3-way coaxial.
What's the difference?!
Am I really going to notice a difference...
hmmmm.....went to a body shop after work. They said they'd want around £150 all in to do it! That's very nearly the price of a brand new diffuser!!
Should it really be that much?
