Thanks Mark, that's exactly what the Schroth guide says so I guess the Willans guide is wrong, or I’m reading it wrong. I need to have a good look at my original mounting points as well so I’ll go through all of them and make sure they’re all correct using the guide. It’s a lot easier now as...
I've just had a look at the Willans fitting guide and it says that the crotch straps should be "to the rear of the driver" and has a picture with them mounted approximately below the shoulder line. It mentions 20 degrees but for the shoulder straps.
Haven't a foggiest anymore as have been running 4-pots for a couple of years now. But truthfully what's the point in worrying over the 25%-50% difference in price between pads if they are 100 times better. The RC5+ pads really are that good. I tried the RC6 pads and in the standard callipers...
I used to have anthracite 2118's on my silver PH1, I then had them powder-coated satin black which looked much better. Now have gloss black F1's which look great but for some reason the satin black 2118's really suited the silver.
Am I right in thinking the difference is just that the crotch clip (into the buckle) has two straps going from it? Presumably are these then meant to be then secured to two mounting points?
I saw a 6 point yesterday and both crotch straps were mounted to the same point.
Also the crotch...
Hi Dom, glad they fitted ok and they look great! Incidentally I didn’t have to remove any weights on my F1's or 2118's - so may be the 1.2s have a fraction smaller ID. Mark
"I will take some photos, but essentially they're satin black 15" ET43 2118's in perfect condition - with no tyres. I live in Buckhurst Hill SW Essex/NE London; send me a PM if you/anyone is interested. Collection only I'm afraid."

The wheels will be available from Sunday onwards, perfect condition, no tyres, PM me if you're interested. Once off I will take some photos and post a ‘for sale’ thread but if anyone's interested they can have 1st dibs.

My 2118's will hopefully be off the car next weekend, they're ET43 and wont have any tyres on them, will put a for sale thread up when they're actually off the car.
Did'nt see that it was for a 1.2, not that I'd know if there was a difference anyway, just that I asked the same question whilst having some cams put in my 172.
Hi Adam, I see you've also got a PH1, one of the 1st things I tried to do was de-badge the rear but the CLIO badge has holes behind it so I left them on. Do you know if the RENAULT & SPORT badges also have holes? Because if not I could get rid of them and just do the new style RS badge as above...
Thanks guys, probably wont be until beginning of October and there might or might not be a set of part worn 888’s on them, am just having to decided what tyres I’m keeping from the mass I’m accumulating, will let you know when they’re off the car. And depending on whether I include any tyres we...
