Looks nice that mate. As long is it's got the diff that's the main thing. Heated leather (lux?) or Recaros and RS monitor would be a nice addition. Theres other stuff like climate control, DRL's but to be honest a car without them shouldn't be a deal breaker IMO.
@Strell2 I may have a Revo induction kit for sale in the coming weeks but would need your OE airbox in trade plus a few quid my way. I would also have Bilstein B12's with new top mounts but again would need your old springs, dampers and top mounts in trade plus a few quid my way.
Could even fit...
Mine is Shark mapped. They aren't trading anymore.
Defo go R-Tech as Revo and APR are extortionate. See below on requirements for R-tech:

Defo get it mapped mate, the 200ps TFSI really needs it IMO. Mine still gets a real world 33mpg as well, that's in loads of rush hour motorway traffic with an average speed per tank of 30mph. Ive seen real world 40mpg when travelling in flowing traffic.
May have a new motor lined up so, what's the Skoda worth?

Gearing is soooooo long. Looked like you got used to it by S3 though. Diff will defo help but you'll need to get all the aids off to make the most of it.
I'm dismissing the Mlite as in all honesty I don't have the funds to modify it to how I know I'd want it, diff, adjustable suspension, M4 LCA, bracing, roll bars, spare wheels with track tyres, spare track pads etc. Marks's video was exactly what I needed to know its not for me as standard. If I...
Check for history on the belts, dephaser and water pump 5 years/60k miles I think. No lights on the dash obviously. Look for unibody and panel rust. 2nd to 3rd gear crunch need to be a high rpm to check. Check steering isn't vague and pulls straight. Tyres and brakes. Service book.
Whichever would need to be compliant on the road to travel up and down the motorway for work. Defo want a hot RWD motor for track days but I just don't think the M lite is not up to it without spending ££££'s on diffs, suspension, bracing etc, E36 328i maybe at some point.... All 3 FWD options...
Road tyres at high temps wont have helped as they just become greasy and under hard braking the sidewalls deform. From watching your video it seems like the auto would be more manageable on track with the shorter gearing. As mentioned fit the diff and see the difference. If you feel it needs...
So it isn't great on track as standard. Set of springs and diff would change that somewhat but it just seems you need big commitment/risk to get the most out if them.
Great video for me Mark with doubts about them on track as standard ?
The driveshaft needs to come out the hub to get the new ring on. Also if Cup pack suspension with 60mm spacing hubs you'll need the wider rings, think they're 16mm v 8mm for the 54mm hub spaced cars.
The split ring slips on the driveshaft and at low speeds just before coming to a stop you get a judder like the abs kicking in. With the light on as well makes it even more likely as the abs sensor isn't reading the sine waves properly from the split/corroded abs ring.
@deanoE30M3 I've got some bilt hamber dynax ub mate, a 1L tin and a couple of 750ml aerosols. Bought it for my Celica but it was to far gone so scrapped it.
