Just going to use a 5w 30 to flush for 1k miles, then go to a 5w 50 for track days. Not going back to 15w 50 as I reckon it was to thick for cold starts.
Very nice, defo on my list of cars to own.
Helped fit a JB4 to my work colleagues M135i recently, couldn't believe how easy it was to fit. We had it done within our half hour dinner break. Also couldn't believe the results for a DIY box.
Mine knocked the traction control and ASR off as well but I think that was down to the position of the steering angle squib. I left it as I turned TC off every time I got in the car anyway.
Do they actually work or should I just use a decent synthetic oil and do a few flushes with that?
Pick my replacement engine up this week and it looks like it's been ran on non synthetic oil hence the heavy varnishing, it also has slight sludging but nothing to bad given it's on 150k miles.

What I've noticed with the MR2 is it has a big air bubble behind the hardtop going down the rear deck as the rear window and 80% of the rear deck doesnt really get wet when...
Is this a 1 or 1.5 way? Only got a Torsen in my MR2 and with the lack of torque its rarely engaged even on track. I can imagine the MP diff will make a lot of difference on the M140.
Cant believe how much BMW insured warranty is..
60k mile example is £181 a month (Comprehensive, £100 excess, no emergency service)
101k mile example is £559 a month (Driveline only, £100 excess, no emergency service)
With the ignition on 1 with engine off pump the pedal till it goes solid and keep your foot on it with medium pressure for a minute or so to see if it goes down even slightly, if so theres a small leak somewhere. If it doesn't budge then its air within the system.
If its air then go out and...
