Some one did this to me when I rear-ended them and i hate people who 'fake' whiplash for the sake of an extra £1k, every time I have to say that there was an injury claimed against me my insurance quote goes up super high! I hope you gte your car sorted out mate, and that you recover everything.

60mm would like nice and shouldn't cause any problems. my car is lowered on 60mm springs and its not had any rubbing or clearance issues.

the 1.2 is my 3rd car and i agree, its pretty amazing. only recently lowered it and i love it when mr BMW 3 series cant keep up round a bend its fun. also loving the 40-50mpg figures. No doubt the bigger engines will be better but I love my clio, she's always good to me

Ideally you shouldn't but if a specialist can fix it when renault cant it may be your only option.

sounds like you might be best off getting the problem diagnosed by a specialist (eg rentech) the taking it to renault, and also writing in complaint that an independant company could find the fault but renault themselves couldn't. they will get it fixed and you may be able to kick up enough fuss...

not BP thats taking all your money, its the government mate. LPG is half the price because the government like it being better for the environment and radically reduced the taxes on it... I'm waiting for the renault push bike, much cheaper :D

I think the point is more that the 'tuners' sl*g people off for altering the styling instead of buying a more attractive looking vehicle. The 'modifiers' dont turn around and laugh at you for spending money tuning your clio, when by the time you've finished you could have bought something...

not sure I got it fitted, it was either pay the guy £20 to fit it or buy some ramps for £30. it looks like just a few screws and the sides cut down a bit
