When I had my claim recently I told them I had put on mods when I was making the claim. They said it wouldn't be a problem, and have paid for all the repairs.
Heh, so I got my car back again today from the garage, after taking it back so that they could re-do the tracking, fix the bolt in the spare wheel well that they bent and fix the crease in the roof that they missed. I got in the car and put the stereo on, and heard very little music. I had a...
crappy cornering and very crappy feel about it, strangely nippy though. The gearbox feels awfull, and the seats are uncomfy. Also I dont fit in it properly, its annoyingly small and It is smaller than the clio undoubtedly. Plus it looks horrible... I guess it still beats the bus though
Re: Complaint to Renault
They might do something, or they might be a bit 'offended' by you're car telling them a story, then again they could attempt to buy it from you for a large sum of cash to sell it as the car that has enough of a personality to write letters... Couldn't some-one 'refer'...
I took my car back to the garage as they'd not fixed it properly from my crash. I arrived there and saw lots of brand new fiestas and a 55plate micra as courtesy cars... Which one did I get?? oh yeah bubblicious crappyness :( I want my clio back
Try working at O2 in bury, I refuse to park in the staff car park iv got that many dents down the doors, the worst bit is that I always parked on the top floor to try and avoid it...
hope you get lucky and find who did it.
it gets better, I finally got round to sorting out the boot and the screw to hold everything in place is bent, which kinda explains why they left it in such a mess. also the trackings wrong, when I hold the wheel straight it veers right, when I let go of the wheel it veers left?? Going back in...
I finally got my car back today after being promised it in 3 seperate timescales (which according to the insurance approved garage were never provided)... The reason it was late is because they fixed the wheel which I told them not to but again not noted, so never said. They have returned the...
I'd say you'd be looking at putting 250 watts to the sub, probs about 50-70watts to the components.
My personal amp choice would be this for now:

Sub:

and components...
just bought a tomtom after stealing a friends a few times, easy to use and its always taken us to where we needed to get. plus all u do is pop in the SD card and it works, no hassle. love it
The easiest way would be definately a 5/6 channel amp though, and if you spend the money you'd spend on 2 amps on a decent 5/6 channel it will sound pretty ace. This is how mines setup. And like said the 6x9s I've got only really put some high toward the back of the car, the bass from them is...
Last time me and my Dad made a boot build in my Astra it was a f**king nightmare to build, and so he has decided he wont help me one 1 for my clio so it would be double the nightmare. Does any-one know of anywhere in Manchester that would do a tidy boot build and how much I should expect to pay?
Ok, the clio comes back on monday which makes me well happy, except that the alloy is ugly looking, defo needs refurbing. Soooo do I take all wheels down and get them sprayed white or leave them alloy wheel colour??
