Smashing work mate. Fair bit gone into that. I'd like to do the same going regarding my gearbox and I'll probably drop Mark a message when I'm ready. Have you a link to the guide you mentioned? Also thanks for the kind words regarding the plates 👍 Engine bay looks sweet also 😎

As above, no reason why it shouldn't providing you have the joiner and may need to cut the silicon pipe down a bit. Looks quite oe too.

A pain in the arse job made easy. People should definitely use this method as way to do so. Myself and others have struggled doing it the "manual" way and this way is a no brainer.

    Ollie's Silver Cup - JMS RS2/Wilwood/2118

100%. After I posted above, I decided to read the whole thread from start to finish this week, finishing just now. This is how they should be done. There was nothing tacky about this cup and all the mods was done tastefully. A real inspiration to how a 172/182 should be modified, even 8 years...

One of the front arb bushes is a right pain in the arse, the other ones are a piece of piss. I think it's the inners that are poo. In fact, I dont think it's the fitting, I think it's the refitting and getting the clamps down that was a pain. Still good work again toby. The pms mounts are a...

Really enjoy reading your updates tom. Makes for a good read. Shame that your still in pain, but looks like your pushing through and it's now not hindering you "too" much. Been flicking back at your project thread for pics and guides on the AC removal actually. I've decided to do a AC delete...

    My Black Gold (no)mod thread

I had the same paul. All I did was remove the side skirt (2 torx on the edge behind the wheel and a few rivets down the skirt and it pulls off) and then use some mole grips to twist the jacking points as straight as I could. Then refitted. Just buy some normal rivets from toolstation or similar...
