How many tickets sold/numbers are coming this year. Seems to be doing the rounds on FB and it looks like like it could be the biggest turnout yet.
I know tickets can be bought on the day but was just wandering what numbers you have so far for attendance.
Fantastic update mate! Congratulations on your baby girl too!
And fair play to being honest. Not that you have to explain why but always good to read to truth over rumours.
Looking forward to seeing what happens to the 182 and porsche in future updates, which I hope you'll provide.
I've been to everyone since since it started in 2011. Got to say, that every year as the event gets closer I always look forward to it. I think the people make it tbh. It's a great day for old faces and newcomers.
Just hope the weather is decent.
I'd definitely recommend pre booking as sundays are very popular and if there is no space, they can turn you away as parking on the roads is not allowed.
I've been twice. I think the place is great. Good vibe and atmosphere and theres always plenty of different and various stuff there. Cars, bikes, and the obscure. Dogs are welcome too so it give the place a nice relaxed feel.
It's a bit over 2hrs away from me, but worth the trip everynow and...
Yeah that's a cheap mod regarding the cocktail sticks as it's got a nice point. A good DIY way of doing so.
Yes I added lacquer on the big ones, the ones on lower part of the front bumper I didn't bother with.
Thanks Craig for the positive words. I try and keep it well maintained and...
Thanks mate.
As for the pen, I got it from Amazon last year. Think it was £9 from memory. If you cam get one, I'd highly recommend it. It's a very neat way of doing it, better than a small brush.
I forgot to add a few more pics of the touch ups.
Indeed i will be Paul. In fact...
I did not know the carbon was wrap. It looks as good as the real deal in those pics. I also like the carbon touches against silver cars, adds a nice bit of contrast.
Car looked great on Saturday at C&M.
Thanks mate.
Pretty good bud. Few chips was had but i got a touch up pen. See above for pics.
Yeah i like that one. Guys at work thought i was mad when i told them, but i saw a small window of opportunity and took it!
King of the 15" on the ph2's imo.
Thanks for the kind words guys...
So it seems i haven't updated this in a good few months. I have done bits, but nothing major. To be honest, i've just been driving it a lot! I've taken pics along the way so ill update here.
So the car hit 130k back in january.
I bought a new gear gaiter (again) as my clips had broken...
Indeed I am. drj_182
Appreciate that Eddie ?
Thank you for the offer mate. I'm out of plates now so will sell the final set and then decide what I want to do regarding another batch.
@andy_con that's mega money. I think I've priced mine well, so that they appeal and are affordable to buyers, competitive against the Renault ones, but also so I make a little profit on them.
I think I just need to get more out there for others to see, which would make it better.
Dont blame me mate, I'm just jerky putting ideas out there!! There are some 2118s that have the writing engraved but they have high offset so arent as wide as ours.
If you want them proper mint, then I'd go down the lacquer route. If not, then I'd recommend just getting stickers and giving them...
Thanks for the pics Eddie. Glad your happy with them ?
Thanks Simon.
Mine are decals, yes. Like yours, my speedline was printed on the wheels. But over time and polishing, they fade. I didn't want that look so I got new decals from ebay and removed all my old printed ones for a clean start...
I have a new one fitted but kept the old one as the plastic clips are just so weak. I might to what you've done to my spare as its mint barring the snapped clips.
OMP GP. It's the perfect size at 330mm, the material is great for comfort for daily use and also for spirited drives, and it looks decent. The Trecento is the same but 300mm and a tad small in my opinion. I've had both btw.
I personally think the Renault Sport Sabelt one is the best wheel for...
I know. Biggest regret of all my cars mate. Ph1s are so much cooler looking imo.
But it does have a cup spoiler, therefore yours doesn't need a trophy one if you like this car....
Ph1 needs the cup spoiler. The standard is a bit small and doesn't really have a decent shape but the trophy spoiler is a bit too pointy for the curvy ph1 looks in my opinion.
Few pics of my old ph1 with a cup spoiler. I thought it looks the best out of them all and the little flick at the end...
How much @Rob ?
Having always had ear buds, I keep looking at headphones. My issue is I have a small head so I find that a lot of headphones I've tried in shops tend to feel a bit loose.
