AF-S Motor, F1.4, Full time manual over ride, rounded blades... blah blah blah ;)
Its the same with Canon TBH - the price difference between the F1.8 and F1.4 is also sizable.
Yeah I do agree with you, I would have probably chosen the D80 if it had felt right, but the D40/D60 just fits the bill for me!
As for the 50mm AF-S - damn lens, can't find the bugger in stock anywhere... and the cheeky b******s on ebay are wanting £350-£400 from HK!!! flol!
I vote the D60, but only because I am not a pro or even semi-pro, I don't have a lot of lenses and the lenses I do have are all AF-S and cover the ranges I want. Plus I like the size of the D60.
'Another good example is the Nikon 50mm 1.8, normally £75, want the nearest thing that will...
Never used a wide angle lens, may get one in the future but not sure if it would get used enough to warrant the purchase! My walk around lens starts at 16mm, there is actually more of a difference between the wideness of 16mm and 18mm than I thought there would be!
I need to put together an intranet site for work - no idea really where to start!!
Its just a basic site, will have links to download forms form the server etc.
Any pointers how or where to start?!
My link was already in the post = Revelation Failure ;)
However my 09:38 edit did add this line 'Pretty Boy XXXL's on ebay:'
Muffin Top - what ever next lol
I would never trust ebay with SD cards - so so so many fakes on there.
Would never buy one that big either - I have lots of 2GB ones.
You realise that the camera will also only display 3 figure numbers so when you stick the 16GB or 8GB the display will just show 1k instead of actually how many...
XL is not very big! I use it and it fits my D60 + 16-85 mounted lengthways and the SB-400 at the end - thats where is stops!!!
I have it in Olive - great colour in the flesh!!
Pretty Boy XXXL's on ebay...
Not really fussed TBH, its just for occasional use - having looked at them again the slik has a max load of 3kg compared to 1kg of the other - so maybe the Slik is the better option!
Your forgetting that a few of the lenses you listed are specifically designed for full frame cameras, yeah they will work on the entry level cameras, but not at the focal lengths stated!
D60 plus £30 cash back works out same as 450D and IMO its a better camera to use, with better IQ (in my...
I would go the D40, or if you can get a good deal the D60 + £30 cash back.
Yes if you choose Nikon and you want Auto Focus your choice of lenses is small ;)

Hope your getting it in black?!
My misses is getting the Samsung Pixon - was easy to use and great camera too!!
I prefer the C902, but she likes the sammy!
