Saw a white cup outside oceana at about half 12 at night on sunday the21st. Red R27 near bleak hall, and a RB r27 parked over the road from jonh lewis on monday the 22nd. Was in the misses pink micra :S so wouldnt of spotted my LY.

Ive had this problem. The garage who repaired your car are allowed whats called 'a right to reply' which as another chance by law to fix your car and if they f**k up again, then you can take it where you like. Its worth doin mate, and tell your ins company how shite they are coz if they get bad...

Yeah mate! Great nippy motors, i was gonna get 1 but i held out for a 182. But they are great fun and simple mods would make it even better. I would mate coz in the current situation they are cheap to run, very good on low revs.

Just speak to someone in the service dep, or a technician. Think its known as the cold start patch, when i got mine back they didnt no what it was either but when it goes in the garage the download anything new to the ecu anyway as part of their checks.

Yeah the remap really does help, feels much more spirited! Wont cost you a penny.

Was in the garage filling up the R27 and nearly bought a bottle of stp fuel injector. 2 things put me off. 1. i fill up with v power which is supposed to clean the injectors anyway isn't it!!?? 2. it was nearly 8 quid lol the car has done 24k, serviced on time and is very well...

im 22, 4years no claims and pay £600 for my R27. I was paying £1000 for my old 182 when i was 21. Im coming up for 23 in a month and nearly another no claims so should go down even more.

^^^ The 197 is not as big and bulky as people make out its, easily as chuckable as the 182. I used to own a 182 and the i dont notice the weight thing. What about a 197cup vs 182cup? If the 197 was the same as the trophy then surly the 197cup would beat the 182cup on the same roads!! Hmm...

Glad your enjoying it mate, post some pics of your new beast up! Albi is very nice. I know what you mean about the power just seems the faster you go the more/harder it pulls! Even off cam there is good torque and races through the gears to get on cam so fast compared to the 182.

^^^ yeah i agree, mine is on 24k now and feels very different comp to when i first had it. It was the same with my old 182 tbh

Sorry to hijack the thread, but my Ly r27 has a few stone chips, would they be difficult to fill in/paint or whatever they do? Wouldnt be a respray would it:S All woried after reading this thread lol. I had i dent on my passanger side rear/Q, it was creased right on the arch line and i got it...

Has anyone had any experience with chips away or anyone else with Liquid Yellow? Has the work been good on the car/looks good when finshed etc? I wanna get some chips touched up on my car, i got lots of little ones and 2 big'ns. Or if anyone can recommend someone that would be great, cheers.
