I'm told my ECU might of blown due to charging the battery whilst still connected to the car. If I need an ECU what are my options? Can it be repaired? If not can I just replace the ECU or will I need keys and ignition ring too?

Fuel pump starts up for about a second then goes off! There was a humming/ buzzing sound under the bonnet when the ignition was on prior to the battery going flat but not now and it won't start

whats the best gearbox oil to use in a 182? How much needed? Shall I drain old stuff out? How do I fill and drain please peeps?

Looking at a 182 and engine light is on, told it's because it has full decay. Will a code come up on the test for this?

Just fitting a set of these and the instructions show the springs one way (small speing at bottom) but the collet won't go in the top of the spring and the intermediate collet fouls on the dust cover. KTec web pic shows the springs the other way up (small spring at top) and they go together no...

It's the dash buzzing/vibrating and just feels tight. Can feel the exhaust shake when starting but manifold is well clear.

trying to put braided lines on my rears yet the nuts have seized on and I can't get them off!!! They are 11mm aren't they? Seem like 10.5mm as get play on the spanner and now they're rounding! Any help guys?

All done and vibrating lol. Third gear has a clunk now though!

Haha I went to put it back in and there was one there already! It must of been an old one that was in my battery holder and it fell out when I removed it to do my mount..

Does it need to go back on? It fell off as I was doing my gearbox mount!!

I've got the three mount kit from K-Tec and there are no marks on the dog bone.

My son will be 16 in September and is going to race in the Championship from then on so I have from now till then to build the race car. I've got a 54 plate Clio 182 with both packs on, 75k with full history so let's hope it holds up. Any tips on the build rye are welcome.

Cool sounds good. It's for racing in KTec's clio 182 championship so vibration is no worries.
