When we ran Renault in HK we held almost 2 million quids worth of stock (being overseas), and you would be surprised how little that actually buys. Its impossible to stock for everything, and you only stock the fast moving stock. Especially in this economic condition, recieving items in 2 days...
I dont see the issue if its 3yrs or 5 years?
Personally I sure as hell woulnt leave an aux belt for 5 whole years even if it only passesd 36k just on the 5 year marker.
ESPECIALLY if your doing track work. Belts really dont like the life they lead.
I'd personally change it at 3 years...
Did you clean the return spring?
If all the grease is removed from it then it can become 'sticky'.

The seal doesnt come out with it, and it only needs replacement if it gets damaged (nicked or torn etc).....which practically never happens apart from user error.
Just unbolt and lift it out, then slide it back in when done.
Using a charger you wont have to mod the block, you wont needa new ex manifold or system, you'll only need to mount it and build the boost plumbing and IC.

The head skim must of been massive to cause those issues, i've deliberately skimmed over half a mill off stock heads with 428's and and stock pistons. Sure its not something else, like a slip or a mistake? Its happened to me before. Have you checked the actual clearance running the 428's?

If you have the 172 fuel lines or connectors you can strip back the moulded plastic fuel lines to expose the barbed ends and you can connect the phs1 rubber hose to it.
