    Tyre comparison pics..

Correct ^^ The sidewall is the same thickness (45) but basically your new tyres have more tread than the old ones, so the gap is less.

    k-tec racing delivery

I can only speak from my experience. I ordered a set of brake discs online on a Monday night and they were delivered on the Thursday afternoon. Considering the order wasnt fully processed until Tuesday morning, so i''d say 3-4 working days.

    Curbed My Alloy

Usual cost for a refurb is £35 to £45 per wheel then + £5 for removing and refitting / balancing. £90 for 1 wheel is a rip off.

Blue screen - XP - Gurus needed

I had something similar with my pc, boot it up and pc would work fine for weeks then out the blue i'd get the blue screen saying memory error. A few months ago i did a clean windows XP install and have had no problems. Try a clean install of XP first and install a few programs at a time...

    PC Security

I previously used Norton Antivirus, but it uses far too many processes. I now use Webroot Spysweeper - which has free updates, and lots of other great features. A couple of other good programs are Spybot Search & Destroy and Spyware Blaster. Zonealarm Pro for my firewall

    insuring 2 cars?

You can only use your NCB with one car. "£400 to insure a 1.9 diesel clio 1994 tp only!" is outrageous, but thats because they are taking this with 0 NCB as you are using the 5yrs NCB on the clio. Might be a lot of hassle, but try another insurance company that will insure a 2nd car. (1...

    Scottish Motorsport Show 2007

Nice vids. Looks like you got a similar position for taking videos as i did. It also looks like they have added another set of barriers, possibly from people covered in muck from the Saturday

Scottish Motorsport Show Feb 24th *PICS*

Went to this today, luckily the rain stayed off for most of the day. There were 2 halls with various vintage rally cars (Colin & Jimmy's first rally cars) some new production cars and a few modified cars. There were not enough cars to be honest and you could walk around both arena's in 10-15...

    Top gear attacked by red-necks

Another really funny episode, especially when they pull into the petrol station and the redneck comes out asking them "Are you trying to get yourself killed." A truck full of rednecks turns up and starts throwing bricks at the camera crew. At this point Clarkson buggers off, James May cant get...

    Bell or Elephant insurance?

I'm with Elephant and have been for several years. i like the fact you can go online and get a quote then save it, go back in and change a few options (limit the milage, change job title) then see what saving you can make ;) I'm surprised at how little a CAT1 alarm reduces the policy, mind you...

    172 Cup Rear brake discs

I got new front and rear EBC drilled and grooved discs and EBC greenstuff pads fitted to my cup on the same day about a year ago. The brakes were checked recently and found that i still have half the brake pad material left in the front and the discs were ok. The rear brake pads were very low...
