Getting the rear one off isn't the hard part, getting it back on is the annoying bit. It's not too difficult though, I spent about half hour afterwards getting mine back on with no tutorial. Once you've undone the screws, you've got to do a bit of wiggling until it comes out.
Despite my best efforts to keep them from being stolen. (Glueing the b******s in)
Some s**t has nicked the front two diamond centre caps off my turinis.
Can anyone give me some info on getting hold of some more?
Thanks for your time!
Sam
Oh thats good to hear.
It was; not so much anymore since I changed spark plugs having a little misfire every now and then, and it does this super weird idle. It starts off revving quite low, slowly slowly drops until the engine nearly cuts out, and boots itself up, to 1.5k and slowly lowers...
New head gasket needed Im guessing? (OR so i've discovered)
It means water in the oil right?
Part No. ?
How hard is it for a complete novice to do haha
Give me all the info you can please!
Thanks for your time!@
Your dash moulds and colour coding are awesome and upholstery is amazing. No major changes but it's made such a difference.
How do you have access to the facilities to vacuum mould if you don't mind me asking?
Banging thread, definitely subscribed.
Hahah wicked, what blue did you go for? I had to go for something loud, not too fond of it when the police take notice of me though.
The lights aren't in a bad way at all, just a tiny bit of fade, I'll probably polish 'em up nice and sell them.
They're certainly delicious, I'll get a...
The note is somewhat more robust than the S3. Just out of more features like PopUpPlay, and burst mode for pictures. I would go for the S3.
Opinions based on the fact I work in a phone shop. Not to mention I'm a tech hoar.
Bit of a peculiar question, anyone in your friends or family (or maybe even yourself) that work for a large corporation at all?
Could be anything from Met Police / NHS, BP, Ford, Large banks, retail stores etc, there's loads
You can get yourself a discount with Vodafone under the VEA scheme if...
Took me a while, I went to three different B&Q's and all three of them were out of satin black. Found out Hobbycraft sells bucket loads of the stuff.
Not as noticeable as yours, though I really quite like it subtlety.
Here's a bombardment of questions:
How long have you had it sprayed? and has it faded at all yet?
Can you link me to or let me know where I can buy it?
I had done before, a friend of mine must have very small hands, I couldnt do it myself personally,
but this time we took the bumper off. Only took us around an hour though, wasn't bad at all.
Pondering through people's progress threads, I see alot of people with RS Grille's that look darker than my standard one.
Apart from C4 Trim restorer, is it fairly common for people to have their grille sprayed?
Im satisfying my desires by making a replica myself, It's doing the trick and I really enjoying learning about the car this way. It also is alot cheaper than actually getting a 172, though it's crippling everyday the way I can't put power down in my 1.2.
Each day I have my car I find more and more things that the previous owner had bodged, side strips were one of them, the reason why I found them fairly difficult to get off was that I'm pretty sure there was some adhesive residue when I finally got them off. I found this when I was applying the...
200, which I was happy for as cliospares wanted the pricely sum of 300. As for the tints? Personally I like the whole clean image of black on black, without tints on the windows or rear lights (despite them looking naff at the moment) I think there's too much contrast. I'll have to put the...
