Can someone explain the difference between launch control and expose? Expose doesn't look like it does anything anymore. EDIT: and I now have an auto correct spelling function as I type this too! Never noticed that before.

You can have multiple desktops too, not sure how I'm going to use that lol. That becomes even more 'WOW' as I have a 24" external display hooked up to my iMac too. It's crazy lol!

I bought my iMac with a trackpad, no regrets. Love it! All the gestures make your workflow so much easier and quicker, and it's even more so with all the new gestures!

Bloody confusing! It seems all the trackpad gestures are now done with one less finger. eg....expose is now three finger swipe, back and forward pages is now two fingers! I've swapped them back to how it was in SL, would get on my tits otherwise!

OMG this scrolling is going to take some getting used to! What does four finger gestures do now? (on the trackpad) Seems like four fingers by default isn't used

Do you monitor how much RAM is being used? If you edit photos in Photoshop etc then a lot of RAM will be used, so 4GB would make things run a bit smoother.

10 stop filters are great fun aren't they Geordie! You can take a relatively boring view, and make it interesting using that filter.

Re: Lion to be released this evening? Apparently Parallels doesn't work in Lion, despite them saying they support it on their site. I think I'll update my iMac first, then wait to see if I get any issues first. I'd rather not encounter issues when I'm out and about with my MBP.

I've had my wireless keyboard and trackpad for months! The keyboard is still on 100%!!! The trackpad is at 20% now, but I obviously use that the most.

Re: Lion to be released this evening? Well I have two HDDs in my iMac. OSX is on my SSD which is backed up to the HDD using Time Machine. So I was wondering if I can do a clean install on my SSD, then use TM to backup all my programs and data back onto the SSD with Lion on.

Yeh I use a Logitech 2.1 system. The standard is pretty good, but can't compare to a proper system.
