Thanks for the comments!
It was pretty windy so I was surprised when the pics didn't fail completely - I had to hold on to my tripod to brace it, which is never a good thing :S
SSW S093 bought from a local contact in Sydney. 16s with +42 offset. Weigh about 6.8kg each. Got them for $600AUD new when Turinis cost around 3x that over here!
Aus. Design Rules (ADRs) for cars are ridiculous, and currently noone has the compliance rights for Vees... It involves crashing one in tests etc etc, and noone wants to do that!
Easiest is to live in the UK and own one for 12 months continuously - you can bring whatever car you want over if...
60 limited edition cars came with them (45 in FRB, 15 in Inferno). You can buy them but the stealers want way too much money for 'em. And cheap ones from the UK are killed by freight costs... :dead:
Thanks Ali! Definitely a great bunch of blokes (and girls!) over 'ere.
Just wish we had more Vees!! There're now 2 in Aus. This silver phI in Sydney, and a blue phII in Adelaide (currently for sale) - wish I had the funds! :dead:
Oh and there's also now a Williams in Adelaide too - guy just...
^^^ that's mental!
Yeh when he said he was getting it for a few days he said "CLK63 Black", so I thought "Oh know, not another black AMG"... then when he brought over I realised what he meant. :o
Yep. The owner brought it with him from the UK a couple of months ago & it's now all registered and driveable. It's even got a GB sticker on the back & the original plates in the boot.
Exhaust noise
Wheel spin :approve:
What else is there? ;)
My dad was lucky enough to have this for 3 days this week. It hauls... :rasp:

C+C welcome!
The first phI Clio v6 has just arrived in Sydney and is now driving around trying to avoid the pot-holes. To celebrate a few of us met up and took some photos and then some of us went for a blat through "the Nasho"
This came down to check things out too :cool...
I'll dig some up for you mate. The owner is also on here (Chris-172) so I'll let him know you asked!
There are a few in here:

Haha yeh well Turinis are stupidly expensive over here - my rims (black ones on the silver Clio) were about 1/4 the price of Turinis and the ones on the Flamer (Enkei SC-03s) were about 1/2!!
Pics were taking back in August in the Carriageworks in Sydney. C+C welcome

There are lots of really good pics in this thread. Great composition, clarity and detail.

But there are also a few shockers. Doesn't the first post say,

Having said that I will still submit some photos :o
Nice pick up :)
What made you choose the Prolines? I've a friend with a Cup who's tossing up between them & the Sportlines. I've got the Sportlines and it lowers the car a little bit & stiffens things up a tad. I can't see the Prolines being much different to the standard Cup springs though...
