Will a Focus pull a car and trailer? My Mondeo ST TDCI would struggle with a my Clio and decent trailer if uktow.com is correct, recommended tow weight for mine is only 1255kg at 85% of the cars kerbweight (recommended).

Strange one then, only thing I can think as Bash mentioned above is maybe the spacer went on the wrong way around but I've done this before and it just crunched when tightening it back up and shattered the ring. And just to add those snap-on diagnostic readers aren't very good on the older...
So the rear spacers where refitted from the old discs as MTEC don't supply these with their rear discs last time I purchased a set. Oh and I meant blueprint rear ABS sensors not discs don't work
If you've fitted the rear spacer correctly check the ABS connectors making sure you haven't pulled one, also check the connector by the passenger A-frame underneath the car. If still no joy check the rear rings are seated properly and give the sensors a spray with contact cleaner. Also did you...
It would be horrendous to drive anywhere but on a ultra smooth dry race track, honestly don't see the point of road cars like these. Its not even like its got unique styling or state of the art tech.
You'd think that the goon would be keeping a low profile not running red lights with no insurance. Nothing surprises me these day on UK roads though, I absolutely despise driving on the road these days!
..but not to soft as they go off far to easily. I'd say a treadware of 50-80 is a happy medium. Those Avon ZZS I had on at Oulton wouldn't even do a full lap before becoming greasy, they're a treadware of 20 which is more of a wet tyre rating.
Bit contradictory the text isn't it, think they're 100 though as I've seen them before from Ears. The 100's will be pretty good and I remember someone using them at Oulton one day and he rated them but said they wear fast.
As above used track tyres can be a real bargain, but IME can also be hit and miss regarding age and usability. I've had some 17 years old, some that have had bead damage so where not safe to fit, but most have been fine and I've never bought a new track tyre. Always ask for the DOT code...
