Getting to grips with it now mate yeah, using the flappy paddles for gear shifting as I didn't go with the gear shifter add-on. Wheel stand pro is a real decent bit of kit as well. Its just finding the time to play it now, lol.
Never really understood using a 'R' rated tyre for road personally as its always a compromise in the wet, especially when cold but yeah the new Yoko 'R' range probably wouldn't be as good of an all-rounder as the AD08R. Personally I'd just stick with a road tyre like the PS3/4, GY F1, RS3 etc...
@bloke would you be able to do this to mine, but instead of the cup bias valve set-up have a bias valve fitted inside the car? Would also want new lines making up from the MC back?
My low entry jack gets under my Clio and it's lower than my nans nipples. I just jack it on the chassis beam just forward of centre and one axel stand on the chassis beam just before the a-frame and one on the rear sill or rear beam depending where I'm working on the car.
It'll be the mould release, couple that with cold, salty roads and they will feel crap at first. Put them through a good heat cycle and let them cool and they'll be fine.

1. At the start of each month a track and car are chosen by the driver with the fastest time from the previous month. If the same driver is fastest two months in a row then the track/car choice falls to the next fastest driver. The car & track should be chosen within a few days of...
Right so the G29 & WSP V2 turned up yesterday and managed a few hours playing about with it in the evening. Seemed to come to grips with it really quickly that's left foot braking as well. I was expecting it to be really difficult the way some where saying that a pad is much easier due to...
Variation is from really light (how I have it on the road) to pretty much unsteerable with no assistance. I personally think its great for the road but a bit inconsistent on track as it changes resistance depending on the type of corner e.g on the entry to the highly cambered Shell at Oulton it...
What an absolute ball ache, I was well in the RS camp as well for a used hyper hatch but think i'll give them a miss now and look elsewhere as can you imagine this issue out of warranty :weary:
Type R it is then.
Just waiting on the wheel stand pro mate, I know its not going to be easy at first but I have no doubt i'll be significantly quicker over a pad just need patience at first to dial it all in and come to grips with it all as I've never even used a wheel before.
s**t Bro, not in Bolton but I'd be up for a pint or even just a chat to be there for a fellow CS member. Been there with close friends and family in times of strife and know how hard it can be as you're seen as a sob story, and it almost seems forced from those closest to you end up feeling like...
