Yeah lol although the ash tray took some finiding!
The ones which run in race series generally have more than 140bhp. Round a very tight circuit like anglesey mine would be awesome but on any track with a decent straight the lack of go above 70 would be very annoying.
You should be working.
Some time in the future i have to get those front speakers working and some new brake disks on the front becuase these ones vibrate the pedal like a mofo!
My mate has got a set of black cobra monaco's i'm trying to get him to part with. The skinny exhaust you speak of is the Pugsport one. Same as the one off grp N cars.
Its fragile for track use because they just are areodynamic enough for any decent high speed. It gets twitchy over 80. They are also slow above 70 to the cutting the air like a brick. I'd rather track a hatch than one. They are good for a sunny day blast but thats about it unsless you take the...

Hmmm i could tap into each inlet and join them with a chamber then place the MAF on that. It won't be perfect but a friend has a similar set up running his maf.
No R1 carbs. I'm dumping the EFI system but i'm keeping the ECU for the spark curve. Also if i do things this way i can't put it back to the OE EFI set up reasonably easily.
Right i'm getting a 1.8 16v as a run around. Since it won't be doing much i'm going to use it as a test bed. I'd like to fit the R1 bike carbs i have kicking around.
I can have a manifold knocked up pretty easily by an local engineering company who has made a few for XE engines.
I remember...
