Just thought i'd see how much it'll be for my renewal this year

My insurance for when im 19, no NCB, 2 years driving with IAM.
Mods declared:
Other engine mods
Suspension Lowered 50mm
Exhaust
12k a year, locked in a garage and immobilised
£570 fully comp :approve:

It was £725, then i declared the mods and it went down! wtf!!

i need to give bell a go, ive got a valver and for when im 19 the lowest i can get it 1000 and thats with no mods!!

Aye, ive got IAM, though so that may be a reason for it being so low. also another thing to do is put your parents as named drivers.

IAM is like the pass plus. i'm with bell too pretty good imo. add two old, good drivers and watch the price go doooowwwnnnnn

IAM is Istitute of advanced motorists, advanced driver training, skid pan etc, proving you are looking out for more and are more aware than the average motorist, usually knocks 15% off!

thats well cheap, when i was 19 they wanted 3k for my rallye !

But now I am 23 and just renewed with them, bmw convertible 2.5 at £657 FC.

Wonder how much it would be for a vx220

it involves numerous lectures, road based tests/lessons, little things that you wouldnt have thought of, hazard perception in a whole new light.

Yeah will be switching from Admiral to Bell cause I get 3rd party insurance for other cars with them, none of the you have to be over 25 rubbish
