I've got one, and there is a little bit of a cast. I haven't heard of any cameras auto correcting it.
I just adjust in post, usually adjusting the colour sliders to make it look more natural. It's usually a slight blue hue to the photo, so easy to correct.
Ideally you need to be taken out in a car with whatever suspension you're interested in.
If you ever sway towards ASTs I would offer, but you're a tad far away ;)
KWs get a good rep on here. ASTs not so, mainly because people drove them whilst they weren't set up properly.
I was in the same situation as you, as AST are down the road from me I went with them. As you say, they aren't cheap, but my god the car handles epicly (new word). Everyone who's been...
You've got to be trying very hard to get the ABS to kick in, or lock your wheels for that matter......on the road.
Apart from on snow/ice, I've only ever had the ABS kick in a couple of times on track since fitting PF97 pads.
From what I've seen, they put quite a bit in for the practice session (which I think is 20mins, although I maybe wrong). See how much they used, and then for the 40min race would be roughly twice as much used.
I think that's roughly how they do it, but I'm sure Tony or Jay would know better ;)...
I've simply got some CAF tubing running from the fog light holes. I didn't bother with deflector plates.
I would think a lot of air gets through, so it's better than nothing.
Re: Just Crashed!
Why do people put threads like this up?!
They crash because they've been driving irresponsibly, then admit to having undeclared mods AFTER having the crash....and expect sympathy.
I'll look forward to my insurance renewal in October......
Depends if you ever want to but it back to standard.
I have my whole interior in my garage, probably destined for the skip as I can't be assed to sell everything.
I got mine from AST themselves, they're based in the same building as Powerstation in Tewkesbury. Just down the road from me, so it was inevitable really.
If you want it for motorsport then VR isn't a big deal. It supposedly helps in panning, but I can't say I've really noticed.
At 300mm+ then VR would be useful, but otherwise, just practice having a steadier hand ;)
I had the Nikon 18-200 as my first ever lens. As a general everyday lens, it was brilliant. BUT it's quite soft at the longer focal lengths, and not too fast either at f/5.6.
The Sigma 100-300mm f/4 is a cracking 'entry' level lens, I had one, amazingly fast, sharp and not too big either.
I got the i7, partly because it's not a part you can upgrade yourself and I want to keep this for a long time, so an i7 would help a tad.
DO NOT GET RAM FROM APPLE!
