The trip will average the MPG for the entire time since the last reset.
To reset it, click on the end of the stalk until the MPG is displayed. Then push on the 'knob thing' in the actual dials themselves, that will reset it. Then go on the motorway at about 60mph, you should get it over 40mpg...
Yeh Jay told me that lol!
He also said you thought their kits looked very good though, I'd rather have an awesome cage from miserable people than a crappy cage from the nicest people in the world.
Really?! Jay said you visited them and you weren't that impressed with their attitude.
I had no issues, just picked up the phone and spoke to some lady in the office (I presume) and placed the order.
Thanks.
It was £595 delivered, and that's with 2x 1.5m extra bars. I will definitely need one of those for the harness bars, as it doesn't have them as standard. I doubt I'll need the other one.
It looked awesome when it was first fitted, matched the car's colour great....then it just gradually faded away :(
Still one of the best mods you can do to a Clio though!
I've been rolling with a stripped car and buckets for a while, and as I got my bonus a few weeks ago I decided to treat the car to its last mod - after this it won't be touched, just enjoying it on as many trackdays as I can.
I decided to go for the Custom Cages one, it's the CL4 kit if you...
That's very true, but I didn't mean he has to get the exact same set-up as them. Just that they've experienced quite a few different set-ups and would probably be able to give useful advice on a lot of things related to track use.
Holy crap....good to hear you walked away.
182 cup, or a cup packed 182 are a bit more of a hassle because they have different spacing on the holes in the suspension, so some manufacturers havent bothered to make kits to fit it. It's not the end of the world, I have a cup packed 182, and I...
I might be wrong, but you may have to take the dash top out. There's a guide in the guide section for how to do this.
When you've done that, just pop the dial unit out.
Here's a pic to help:
Ive got exactly the same set-up as you, I've read about this not long ago and thought against it.
I'm too worried that a third party program will bugger everything up, I think there are a few horror stories on MacRumours......but most of them are a bunch of retards!
I think mainly for protection. I'd rather have peace of mind and keep them in, just to prevent any crap getting into places where I'd rather it didn't. I cut a hole in the liners for the pipe to go through, and cable tied everything down. Does the job nicely.
