On 150k, it's way to expensive, imo. There's plenty available with less miles for £1100, odd.

Unless you've got proof it's been done recently, as said, a new engine will need the belt doing.

The bottom pulley bolt is a stretch bolt, which sometimes doesn't get changed. Often the cause of a engine failure.

£500-700 collected, depending on modifications, etc. Buy a second hand Ph1 engine for £350 or less. Whack it in. Split your old engine and sell for parts.

Why get rid of the Trophy susp? It's awesome! If you must go lower, MF springs/custom springs.

Get a new engine, imo. Much easier than cocking about getting the belts done etc, if you can find one where the belts have been done recently. Should be able to see a sub 100k engine with recent-ish belts for £350.

Number of owners never bothers me. So many people buy, realise after 6 months they can't afford and sell.

IMO, keep the 1.2 until you can afford an RS. Stepping stone cars are a waste of money, imo. Might as well save until you can afford what you really want.
