lol thanks. Yeh they are awesome filters......if I'm honest I bought mine off ebay for a bit more than retail, but if you want one from Lee or any other store, expect to wait 4+ months!!
I don't usually do sunrise shots for obvious reasons, but my project 52 is providing the motivation to get up early!
Glad I did, as this was a killer sunrise!
Not sure about this one:
A few more on my blog with more info :)
That last shot is good, but straighten it so the tower is vertical, not leaning. If you can recover some of the detail in the foreground that would help too. What exposure was it out of interest?
Hi peeps,
I've got a question that I can't figure out, and I'm not sure if OS X can do it.
In windows, I have most of my viewing modes as thumbnails, but for example in my Download folder, I have it as a list.
I don't have to keep switching the viewing modes as Windows remembers it...
Woohoo! Just had an email saying that I WILL be getting free Applecare on the new MacBook Pro which should arrive soon.
He didn't mention anything else, but I'll push for something little at the store too ;
I got ASTs a while ago, fully se-up from scratch my MR AST himself to the same spec as the burpspeed race car. Absolutely awesome bit of kit.....everyone whos been in the car has all said the same too.
It was a bit pricey, but it's one of the best mods I've done.
If the outcome is that I get free Applecare, then I'll be happy. It doesn't cost Apple anything providing nothing goes wrong, which it shouldn't, so I see that as a very fair deal. That could potentially save me £2k in the long run!
Something extra to compensate me going to the Apple store...
Don't ask mates what to get, just like don't ask what to get on here....people will just recommend what they have. I would recommend Nikon, but thats only because I shoot Nikon, someone who shoots canon will say Canon.
Don't think I have many non PP shots, all have some kind of work done, even if it's a trivial as straightening a horizon that I didn't notice on location.
Just had a nice chat with the Business Manager at the Bullring Store.
Basically, as my MBP isn't standard, they would have to order one in, which could take a few weeks. They asked if it was ok to continue using mine until then, which I had no problem with at all.
He tiptoed onto the point of...
cool, where from? I noticed my MBP slowed a little the other day, but then I was using PS CS5, and iMovie rendering a 2GB 1080p video, and using safari with a few tabs open at the same time.
