Right....I've got another email from the other guy, basically saying that if I have a standard unit (which I do) then I can swop it out at an Apple Store.
They would then arrange for the one of their specialists to 'show me around' the mac and set it up etc.
That's pretty much what I thought...
Not long had another email from the Business Leader in the UK, he said he will personally see this issue through to the end, and will be in touch soon.
All good so far then :)
FLOL! No chance! Why people get glossy screens baffles me tbh.
I might ring up the Apple store in birmingham and ask if they have the same spec MBP to swap it over.
He also recommended going to an Apple store too.
I can see the outcome though, go to Apple store......replace to MBP for a perfect one.....then they say 'is there anything else I can help you with?'
Yes actually......some feking compensation for all the crap I've had to put up with!!
I received a reply!! Amazing!
He basically apologised, and referred the issue to a colleague who will be in contact soon to help resolve the issue.
Now awaiting another email.......
I will be the first to admit I'm in the minority, I am just EXTREMELY unlucky. To be sent one dodgy MBP is rare, so receiving 3 is just amazing!!
I still have high regards to Apple, as I said in my thread, the Customer Support was great. They were very understanding that I should receive a...
This is what I have so far.
I really don't know how to write stuff like this, having never done it before! Improvements/comments? How should I end it too?
Guys, Im writing a draft email for my rather unique situation.
Would you include photos, or just say I can provide photos on request?
And is Pauls post a nice way of saying 'what are you going to give me to make it up to me?!'
I've never written anything like this before, as I've never had...
Also, the trouble with me is I'm quite a calm person, I never get angry on the phone at all. And although I'm proper pissed of that a huge company like Apple has dicked me around, I feel bad for getting angry lol! Sad I know!
EDIT: I also feel bad saying something along the lines of 'What can I...
^ lol yeh I will send it back. Im noticing it more and more now. I can imagine it would get on my tits if I was outside too!
I'm trying to find the best next step. Of course I will have to arrange a replacement, but I don't want to talk to some sales monkey on a phone about my situation and...
Right......that scratch is a bit worse than I thought. Although in most situations is is a little tricky to see, but if you're working on a dark image/area then it's obvious if the light is in the right place.
Here's a few snaps:
And to give you an idea of the scale, here's a full...
What so I should have complained more?
This one seems ok so far, although there is a tiny hairline 'scratch' right down the centre of the screen. If you catch it in the right light it's quite prominent.
So if I ring up now and see if I can blag a free ipod or something? ;)
Not long after I had my 182 I rang Direct Line (who I was with at the time) and said I wanted to upgrade the brakes. By that I meant fit better pads (Mintex 1144s) and Brembo HC discs. Thats pretty much the same spec as factory, but I got told I couldnt do it.
I was a bit more ignorant at the...
Bit of a bump.
Anybody else got these? As I'll be taking mine travelling a lot, I think this would be worth while for protection.
My only concern is taking them off. Would they leave any markings etc?
Well I thought you added motion blur in post, as the very edge of the car is soft, but the details on the car are sharp. It just looks like you've blurred everything apart from the car.
