Well the processor is the main element that you can't do yourself at a later date, so that's the main one I would be focusing on. If not then maybe the faster HDD or more RAM. You might be going a bit far with an iPad, even I might with my situation too, even though I think we are more than...

Various faults. First the keyboard didnt work. The next two had damage on them. As yours is standard, I'd be haggling for an upgrade - especially the processor which you can't do yourself.

What spec is yours eugegall?

Not bad for a first go! What aperture/shutter speed were you using? It seems the torch is struggling to light the car enough, which might be down to the settings you chose on the camera.

What about the cloth that comes with the MBP? I've got a few now as I kept them out of my returned MBPs ;)

Will you need it? If you're processing large files in Photoshop or Final Cut then yeh, but for 'normal' use I doubt you'll need it. I'm not sure how you find out how much RAM is currently being used in OS X.

The guy rang....... He first off started to explain that as I bought the MBP from the Apple store, that's a different company to Apple Retail - so it gets a bit complicated (some sales BS basically!) He said the best outcome would be for me to visit a store so I can get it swapped out there...

Don't bother. Spend it on other areas of the car. Brakes/suspension etc.....and have fun with it on track.

Got a reply already lol! He basically wants to call me tomorrow morning to discuss it and find the best way to resolve it. I can see myself being really soft and just agreeing to a replacement lol! Not sure what to ask for really. Can't fault their effort to be fair!
