Presume you have the damping at full hard on the rear? And tried upping the ride height? If so maybe request a new set of springs from Gaz with track spec ratings 8kg/8kg or even higher if full on track car, o
The Scorpion decats are a menace to seal properly, the mani to decat is easily enough with the OE Renault kit, but the decat to cat-back is a nightmare I found, I had to get it welded up to seal the little fecker. On cold start up pop your head under the car and you'll see condensation and fumes...
Mine will be heavier than standard I reckon, its got the rear and passenger seat out but the MSV cage is around 25kg and the Corbeau Clubsport XL with runner, sub frame and side mounts is defo heavier than the standard drivers seat. I just really cant be arsed stripping the rest of it to gain...
Don't think so mate, you sometime get the old MSV rear cages popping up, but they're quite rare. I've only seen a few come up in the last year or so and I bought one of them. Thing is you need to run a bucket and harnesses with them as they bolt into the seatbelt mounts front and rear, no...
First off you'll have to remove any heat shielding/matting that sits in the way or at least pull it back so that you can gain access to the servo/ master cylinder etc.
Next remove the vac hose from the servo that goes to your inlet manifold.
Then disconnect the clutch cable, either from inside...
No offence but you rate brembo OE which lasted all of half a sessioned day at Oulton before I got blacked flagged as they'd worn to metal on metal, causing my brakes to set on fire ruining a new set of HC discs, and to add insult to injury they where utterly useless in process. The worst pad...
All the pads I've used in the Clio have worked fine from cold, some of the track orientated one's better in fact.
Currently using Mintex M1155 and they're great for £70. They do everything that you need on track and road, they do wear on track more than CL & Ferodo pads though, few hours hard...
I'm in the market for a Civic myself, well for the missus. Had the 1.8 petrol FN, but will be going for the 2.2 derv this time as the petrol is way to slow at low revs.
Haha, handling isn't the best, granted! Saying that I got mine around Oulton in a very respectable time on my first ever outing there, was on r888s though which helped a lot. You just have to go in super hot into corners and lift off which brings the rear around and the nose tucks in, tough car...
The M135i will feel like a barge compared to the 200, whereas the 200 will feel like a cheap eurobox compared to the BMW.
I'd go with a Meg 265 with recaros personally, highly chuckable with a much nicer interior than the Clio.
How is Blyton on brakes? Got a 1/2 worn set of M1155's and a 3/4 worn set of CL5+, reckon these will last for both AM & PM sessions? Also got a new set of OE as well for back up.
Don't think they offer caster mate no, but makes sense to get the BC topmounts with the coilovers as theyre only £60 extra...

Another DIY way to set the camber is with a spirit level, its more so to get it even both sides. I run R888's and as James mentioned above 30psi hot pressure all-round is a nice starting point. I set mine cold around 25psi front/27psi rear and after a few laps depending on weather find the...
