Yep, having taken them off of mine from previous owner fitting them I noticed there was a different brand on each side.
It will get tracked up anyway once I have changed all the bits.
Anybody got a good track setup for me to base it on when I go for alignment?
I have camber boots fitted so...
Done the driveshaft today and noticed the TREs and lower ball joints weren’t in the best of shape so may aswell change while I’m there.
Any links to what are the best recommended ones?
All went well with the front calipers and rear pads.
Couldn’t get the hub nuts off with a breaker bar or impact gun which I borrowed from a mate so had to call it a day at that.
Are there any impact guns out there you recommend as I’m going to need one because it makes jobs like this so much...

I’m going to be changing the front calipers tomorrow as upon inspection, the rubber seals have perished on around the pistons.
I’ve got everything stripped back to change the discs / pads at the same time and new RBF to bleed through once conplete.

Having the belts due soon so I’m going to buy the Cambelt kit with water pump as per attached image - is this correct and original parts?
Will I also need the buy the aux belt and pullys separate to this?

Got the track car up on blocks today for over the winter and for a refresh.
Noticed the drivers side driveshaft boot has torn open.
Is there a guide on here for changing the whole shaft at all?

I’ll give the front coilovers and rear shock/spring setup a go and let you know how it goes 👍

What coilovers are you running on the front?
This setup would save me a lot of cost on full coilovers setup and like you say, gives good handling.

Looking at getting some BC BR for track only 172.
After reading many threads, I’m still none the wiser what to go for.
Some say stiff front, softer rear, others say the opposite.
I’m no track hero but want to be able to push on so wondering what people are using now...

Needs to be waterproof as the track car will be indoors over winter but does get “moist” in the lockup.
