They last about 10k on her car - so wear rate certainly isnt one of their strongpoints lol.
This is the main problem, the Z3M Coupe is a specialist car, that is sometimes quite hard to value, as its very much a car priced with your heart, not heart. Glasses probably says it was worth £6k, whereas in reality, it would quite easily have sold on PH for £12k.

It could be, although the rate im using it at the moment, 200k might take a while lol ... did do 175bhp at 176k though iirc.
Tyres wise, i really like them, i honestly think they very much are comparable with PE2's/ContiSports but at a much lower price. Might just be the way the car is setup...

0000 was fine on my M3, will be doing the golf shortly. Acetone/tardis did seem to work differently, i found the acetone better actually, tardis just made everything greasy!!
Be careful with it though, it marks plastic/leather and turns it white - had to get the black marker pen out to colour...
Peel off film
Clean glass with pure acetone & wire wool (this removes the sticky residue)
Clean again with tardis & wire wool
Polish glass with windolene
Takes approx 20-25 mins per window.
Easy peasy.

I simply do not understand why this car is so unreliable!!!? Was it not essentially built from scratch by TDF?
Mine has done 186k miles, is 99% reliable, whilst being maintained soley by myself & 3 other...
Re: the issues with DSG, it is usally the electronic connections with the DSG's Mechatronic unit that fail (in a similar way to the e46 M3 Vanos Solenoid in fact). VW obviously just replace the whole lot, at a cost of circa £1500. Ecu Testing will refurb the unit for circa £350.
