I assume that's Blyton as that's when AM sign on opens.
I'll be tucked up in my sleeping bag by 10 o'clock with how early I'm going to be out the house haha
Are you far from the bodyshop? If not, just call in unexpected and ask to see it, at least you'll know what kind of state it's in.
I'm pissed off for you!
Oh, forgot to mention, with it being my first CSF I'll bring some extra Fosters in case anyone fancies a can
I know how much people love Fosters
Quickest reply to a thread goes too......
Thanks mate, can't even remember how tight mine are but I definitely didn't do them to the end of the thread or even near the end. Will have a look and tighten them up later.
Hi all,
Recently replaced the manifold to cat gasket including new bolts etc, genuine of course.
Still seems to be blowing under load from this area though. How tight do the bolts need to be? Tighten them until they won't tighten any more? They're currently tight but not mega tight as I...
Just bought my ticket after a bit of persuasion from @dann2707
Never been to anything like this before but looking forward to it. Have a list as long as my arm of bits to do on the car before though!
I second Bram, however Brad is away from tomorrow until next Thursday so they aren't taking any bookings for alignment in that time. I've got mine booked in a week on Friday.
Forum should be called golfR.net at this rate, everyone seems to be getting one.
Looks good though, proper lusting over a 3dr R at the min but I couldn't justify the cost.
I'm in Middleton (LS10) so not a million miles away.
I'm pretty busy with work this week but I'll be at home most of the weekend as I'm fitting new tie rods and tie rod ends if you're about, drop me a PM.
You're in/near Leeds aren't you?
If you've got a little pot knocking around and fancy trying the Vics Concours wax, give me a shout as I've got a pot in the garage which I can take some out of if you want.
Good stuff.
We really need to get a meet set up as there seems to be quite a few active members from Yorkshire at the moment. Saying that, my 182's been sat on the drive for 3 weeks whilst I pull my finger out and order the correct parts for it ;)
Thanks mate, they're the same ones that come up when you put in a Clio 1.5dci or Kangoo which confirms what @172_Tom has said.
Although I have found these on eBay which is really cheap for genuine ones so think I will go with them. Although the £17 ones seem a bit too good to be true...
Tap it out like I did with mine, bit of paint, new PS3 from that Ginetta man, jobs a good 'un!
In seriousness, hope you get it sorted dude. What's the paint like on the bumper, full respray jobby?
I'd go with the lorry theory as well, would of thought it would have moved the car a bit though...
Yeh, they're definitely wrong and that first link confirms it as you say.
Weird thing is, that second link (which seems to be the right ones) has Renault number 77 01 473 655 but I thought it was 77 01 473 656.
EDIT: 655 could be for Kangoo and 656 for Clio?
The ones I've got are 600 74 5355 ECP number and 28358 01 which will be the Lemforder number. These are too short and although they say for SMI on them, they must be for TRW.
I've read about the Kangoo ones but I'm unsure what year/engine will fit?
TBH, I'm considering just getting genuine...
