    Pressure washer

How did you manage to break them so often? I've had my Nilfisk for going on 5 years now and it's still perfect, granted I don't use it as often as you probably do.

    Inner Tie Rods - Confusion...

Mines a non cup and got the SMI rack. I'm so confused as from Googling both them part numbers come up at 282mm which, even the shorter ones in @GrahamS post look longer than that.

    Inner Tie Rods - Confusion...

You don't know the part number for the Lemforders you got do you mate? The ones I've got are definitely shorter than them ones.

    Inner Tie Rods - Confusion...

Was just the first site I came across, think it was Micks Garage or something. Looking now, can get them on Amazon for about £15 a piece. Thanks mate

Clio 182 Cup Inner Tie Rods

Hopefully quite a while yet. If it's worth it, I'd rather pay a bit more for the Renault ones if they're gonna last longer than the aftermarket ones.

Clio 182 Cup Inner Tie Rods

Digging up an old-ish thread here but what did you replace them with? If you look at my most recent thread I'm changing mine but I've got a choice of Q Drive which are apparently shite, the Firstline ones, FAI ones or genuine Renault ones.

    Inner Tie Rods - Confusion...

Hi all, So, I set about changing my tie rods and TRE's. Ordered from ECP when they had a good 24hr discount and without researching I got the Lemforder tie rods and ends. Obviously the ends are fine but the tie rods are too short, only just realised why when I've been searching through...

Why i can not get a cheap insurance?

Ring Greenlight, they were absolutely brilliant for me!

    Daniels Blue 182.

But if you did sell, who would I turn to with my silly questions? Haha. Just let me know next weekend you're back in Leeds and we'll get something sorted, as long as I've got my tie rods and ends sorted that is!

    Tie rod boot, changeable??

Alignment/Tracking you'll need doing at a garage mate.

    Wax

If it's a light coloured car, the best thing I used on my old Silver Clio was the Werkstat Acrylic kit. Hands down the easiest products to use ever and looked brilliant! Think they've stopped making it now and replaced it with the Carlack stuff on Polished Bliss.

Mr Plums Progress.. Clio 182 Turbo!

No worries dude. I've been meaning to clean them up and bang them on eBay but I've just not had the time to do it as yet. Glad to hear the car's still running well, definitely need to get a meet sorted so I can see it!

Mr Plums Progress.. Clio 182 Turbo!

Tbf it may have been someone else I mentioned it to, I've had them that long! All have centre caps and have tyres with loads of tread left but 2 tyres are 195/45/16 and 2 are 205/45/16 I think. Would only want about £80 for them but if you're interested let me know and I'll get some photos for...

    Tie rod boot, changeable??

I'm in the process of doing mine and the job is quite easy, it's just getting all the rusted bolts etc off that's the problem. If you are replacing the boot, there's not much extra work to replace the whole tie rod, although you'll need a viscous spanner/removal tool to get the tie rod off and...

    Tie rod boot, changeable??

I'm not expert, and people may disagree, but might be worth changing the whole tie rod if it's been split for a while and dirt has got into the joint.

How did you paint the grill and fog surrounds? Really need to do mine

Mr Plums Progress.. Clio 182 Turbo!

Think I've mentioned before but I've got some 182 wheels in my garage you can buy off me as they're just sat around doing nothing. Will need a refurb though as they're flaking.

    Whistle noise

If you search 'Cat Mod' there's loads of threads with info and pics.

    Whistle noise

Yeh, that's why it's probably better for them to weld a pipe on the end and sleeve it. I did ask for this to be done but he welded the joint haha. Only cost £40 or £50 though and it sorted it out so I can't complain.

    Spacers for Clio 3 RS - Pro's/Cons

Read loads of stuff on here of 'horror stories' or bad experiences people have had. But I ran H&R Trak+ Hubcentric spacers on my A3 for a couple of years with no problems, had the wheels on and off a fair few times as well.

    Daniels Blue 182.

    We'll have very similar shafts....

    Whistle noise

Take it to an exhaust place and get them to sleeve it or just take the bracket off and weld the olive joint together.

    BMW 330ci

As others have said, raise the back a touch to get a bit more rake and that'll look spot on.
  25. leeds2592

    Whistle noise

This. Seems I've had the exact same problems with my exhaust as you. I got the olive joint welded up and I've just replaced the gasket same as you as well.

Also laughed at this ... gangsta. Very nice 106's though, really want one to mess about with.

    Cv boots

I'm same mate, gasket was fiddley as anything to fit, took me ages! If it's not knocking or clicking it should be alright, @dann2707 was driving round with his split for a while so just wiped all the dirt out of it before fitting a new boot. Just give it a wipe, stick a load of grease back in...

    Cv boots

Should be fine as long as they haven't been like that for ages because if they have, loads of dirt and s**t will have got in and may have knackered the joint itself. Is it the manifold to cat gasket you did? If so, that's literally how I found my cv boot had split after doing that gasket a week...

    Drive shaft gator replacement

Yeh, hardest thing was getting all the bolts off for me. How's yours holding up @dann2707? Picked up that spanner/tool from yours earlier as well :)
