Cat to Manifold Gasket Bolts

Hi all,

Recently replaced the manifold to cat gasket including new bolts etc, genuine of course.

Still seems to be blowing under load from this area though. How tight do the bolts need to be? Tighten them until they won't tighten any more? They're currently tight but not mega tight as I didn't want the spring to fully compress (not sure if it even will?)

Pic of what I mean is below, not my car though.

Thanks

Yep, tighten the nuts right up. But stop when it hits the end of the thread or you'll shear it.

Quickest reply to a thread goes too......

Thanks mate, can't even remember how tight mine are but I definitely didn't do them to the end of the thread or even near the end. Will have a look and tighten them up later.
