I followed this for CC removal:
1) open bonnet and locate piping to inlet manifold from charcoal filter. Cut pipe and seal with a stop or cap.(make sure this is done well or the pressure from the inlet will suck the cap into the inlet manifold causing damage)
2)remove front o/s wheel arch...
I used this :)

Just about fits around the edge of the fog light surround, then tape the s**t out of it! It won't go anywhere as it wedges itself in when you secure it in place :)
Drivers side - you will have to move or remove the carbon canister. If you remove it, search on how to do so as you can have bad effects on the car, so I've been told.
Passengers side - you will have to move or remove the acoustic valve.
I took both of mine out to fit the ducts, both were...
Gutted I'll miss this! Best of luck to you both, and Tony, tell Jay to email me how it went! :)
See you in Anglesey though!!
EDIT: Ah, Jay you're online....well.......email me how it went lol!!!
It's an Audi RS4, but the older style one, not the new shape one.
How much is a ferry these days?
EDIT: Bugger, Ive just realised Im thinking of the Isle of Man!!
Forget everything I've said lol!
EDIT 2: But Isle of Wight is still feasible if they are awesomely amazing locations :)
Well actually I'm due to do a car shoot there (or when the owner comes to England), and was toying with the idea of going at some point.
Is that where you are Revels?
The stamp is behind the fuel rail cover (I think!) and will literally have 'R S' on them, if they are of course RS stamped ones.
I wouldnt be able to tell you how they are different from non-RS ones though, I'll leave that to the techy people :)
Not sure what the deal is on the 200, but on the 182s I was told if they are proper RS stamped ones, don't bother.
Not sure if that still stands for the 200s.
^ I can safely say Im not in that club, I got my suspension for one reason - to handle on track.
It is a completely different car, turn in is spot on, and it doesnt feel like a big soft barge. I know they are not really like that standard, but compared to what mine is like now, thats what it...
ASTs
EDIT: That was an general answer to the thread, not you lukey. By the sounds of it, ASTs are exactly what you do NOT want. But I'm not judging.....yet ;)
Thanks guys.
Those who said they are popping along to a beach, let me know how it turns out. I'm looking for some nice locations to try.
Maybe a photography meet is on the cards?! ;)
Curtis did a magnificent job setting up my ASTs, but coming from their first track outing the other week, the front seriously tyres seriously rub on the arch liners, and I mean the metal bracket behind the liners.
Curtis said the best thing to do is cut the bracket out, as he would rather not...
Sure
I've got this kit: (and the adaptor ring which isnt included!)

I also got some 0.9 (three stop) filters too, slightly cheaper...
And a very nice beach it was. Were you down there last night?! There were a lot of 'kids' having a BBQ.
And others you recommend? I've read that a beach near Monknash is good for photos.
Not much editing, as I'm on a learning curve with the filters, some shots were a bit overexposed, and some a bit under - so were corrected (shot in RAW).
You can set all that in the camera, but I prefer to have the shots as neutral as possible and then do it in PS so I can judge it much better...
