Matched inlets few questions

Thinking of getting my inlets matched on my 200, just of couple of things I want to know.

What kind of gains am I going to see?
Is it worth it, money wise?
Will the car feel alot differnt?
Will it void my warrenty, part of me thinKs they won't even be able to tell

Not sure what the deal is on the 200, but on the 182s I was told if they are proper RS stamped ones, don't bother.

Not sure if that still stands for the 200s.

Don't think it's been done on the 200, not even sure if it's been looked Into? What were inlets like on the 197's? Renault might have sorted it out on the MK3 RS range? :S

Don't think it's been done on the 200, not even sure if it's been looked Into? What were inlets like on the 197's? Renault might have sorted it out on the MK3 RS range? :S

They Are a mess tbh, saw a pic of them at clio197.net and they are differnt shapes and everything!
 
The stamp is behind the fuel rail cover (I think!) and will literally have 'R S' on them, if they are of course RS stamped ones.

I wouldnt be able to tell you how they are different from non-RS ones though, I'll leave that to the techy people :)

my 182 has them and i can tell they have been done but tbh..i dont think you'll notice it with a 200 mate but im no expert. As for voiding warrenty id say it wont. I was there when birchdown fitted mine and theres no way the dealers could tell if they have been matched.

If i was to be in same position again, i wouldnt have got mine done and put the money into my savings. Worth it if your goin for zorst/induction/inlets/map etc etc..

Thanks mate, I think I'm going to go fr exahaust and leather recaros then coilovers and a SC kit in a year or so

om nom will be an awesome car! Mines up for sale in the summer for either a 200 or an R26. Had the 18poo 3 years and getting itchy feet seeing all the nice cars on here lol. That pic of yours on your drive makes me want one!

Wouldnt bother with inlets though until you get the SC kit maybe.. but looking at the state of those 197 inlets they are a mess!!

The lower inlet has a raised R S in the middle 2 pipes, so you can only see it if you take the fuel rail guard off or the lower inlet. You might see it if you mess around with a mirror.

What are peoples thoughts on matching the RS inlets? worth it or not as mine are stamped and was considering having it done.

I've been thinking of getting matched inlets on my 182 aswell, would be interesting to hear other peoples opinions. is the £200 odd worth it for the gains? Only other engine mods ive been thinking about are jms induction set up, rs tuner and exhaust.
