If you specifically want to take day time shots, then even three stops won't be enough. You might want to look into 10 stop filters, there are a few brands out there. Just do a bit of research, make sure you know the filter is going to be right for you.
A bit of advice, if you get a set of slot-in filters (ie. the rectangular ones, not the screw in ones) you can SOMETIMES, depending on the size of the filter, use a graduated ND filter as a normal ND filter. If the filter is large enough, you can slide the GND filter down so that all of the...
Really nice idea for the last shot! I would be tempted to flip it vertically, so the flag is the correct way round, unless anything in the photo I havent seen would give that away.
I would be weary of cheap filters. At the end of the day, all the light has to pass through that filter, so if it's a bit dodgy, your photos will look naff. Carefully decide which filter would be best, and spend a bit extra on it I would advise.
x8 are a good filter density. My first ND was x8...
Just bought a new filter that allows silly low shutter speeds, had a play this evening :)

If you use photoshop, use 'Save for web...' Fiddle about with the quality settings until you are happy with the file size etc.

I wouldn't say there's anything wrong with the exposure in that shot. The main criticism I would have is the sharpness. Do you use a tripod at all? If not, I would thoroughly recommend one. And what aperture do you usually shoot at?
As above, if you shoot in RAW, you will have greater...
ASTs are simply awesome. Nuff said. A lot of people on here don't rate them much, but I'm sure they weren't set up properly.
Maybe a cage in the future, not too sure yet. Time will tell ;)
RSport Wimbledon. Pretty easy to fit, although in my honesty, I didnt fit it :o...
AutoGlym bumper care has always done wonders for me, havent used anything so cant comment on alternatives.
Give the plastics a good clean as you would normally, then once dry, use AG Bumper Care as per the instructions on the back.
I know how you feel at Silverstone. Could you not get into the stands overlooking the track and use a longer lens? Or do you have to stay where you are?
A brilliant effort though. What body did you use? At 100ISO, you werent using a D3 ;)
I've only done one day on normal road tyres, so I can't really give my experiences on track as such. When my 888s wear out, I will probably get some road/track tyres so I will be able to compare properly.
Any site where you can buy domains/hosting will have a domain checker.
Can't really answer that as I know very little.
I've just switched to evohosting.co.uk. Pleased with them so far, but I guess it depends what sort of hosting you want ie. whether you want mySQL packages etc
