RS Clio prices generally are a bit varied at the moment. 53 plate 172 Cup prices have shot down to £7000 in several cases privately but at the same time Renault dealerships still seem to be shifting them for at least £9k. At the same time though the guide price in Parkers/Glass etc is somewhere...

Our local dealership advertises Dynamiques in the papers weekly but always displays a picture of a 172 everywhere! So be cautious, its probably rubbish No way Renault are doing a Clio on 17s as standard.

So in theory someone could knock out a nice LCD display with a GPS verified nice big clear speed reading on it for less than £50, as databases etc wouldnt be an issue. Surely there has to be a market for that?!

Either way the best part of £350 then! Heres hoping technology like this comes down in price massively over the next 12 months.

Just been thinking about this today, what is the easiest and cheapest way of getting a digital GPS speed-read out in your car? Im assuming no products just do this one task, so Im thinking it would have to be a GPS "black-spot" detector or Sat-Nav system that gives you a speed read-out anyway.

What do you use on your tyres? They are possibly cleaner than the car!
