http://www.justmatz.co.ukwww.justmatz.co.uk , well pleased with them, cost a fair bit but thats only because I got a boot mat as well. Took ages (5 weeks) to be made and delivered but it was worth it.

Bought it and fit it myself right where you see it in that first picture, was a bit of a tight squeeze to get under there...

A few there, standard interior apart from the custom mats, and...
Ah yes, I remember now. Second gear and struggling without a big run up on one particular hill I drive every so often, first time I did it in the Cup I never left 5th.
3 passengers in the 1.2 up a steep incline was quite amusing!
I loved my 1.2 Dynamique, it was suprisingly quick and I always raved about it. However (and this is an obvious point) when I got my 172 Cup the meaning of quick changed considerably, and I had a little chuckle about how I used to boast that my 1.2 was actually "pretty nippy", my benchmark has...
I guess thats ok, what plate/date was it registered though? I got a December 2003 (18 months warranty left) 172 Cup with private CUP plate and 8k on the clock for £8395 back in May from a dealer.
The value of a private plate is only worth thinking about if it actually means something to you...
Well firstly I would imagine that a V6 is more likely to be a second car or weekend car, not something that is generally used to commute in. So I would expected "V6 Spotted" posts to be far less regardless of how many were sold.
Secondly even though only 300 Trophys are out there, they are the...
Why do you think Renault have anything to do with it? Just seems like this particular dealership wants to shift a load of 1.2 16Vs so they have bulk ordered the MS bodykit and are shifting it as a "GTR"!!
Im 23, 5 years NCB and no accidents or anything, car isnt garaged and its down for 12k a year. I did do Pass Plus which has paid for itself 5 times over already and was good fun though.
£8500 53 Plate 172 Cup = £570 with Elephant
(I feel like I got a bargain now seeing some of those prices for...
I quite like, it makes sure you are completely on the ball when accelerating hard. I always have two hands on the wheel and that removes virtually any "risk" from torque steer.
The only dangerous instance I can think of is you pull out to overtake someone on a narrow road then nail it, the...
RS Clio prices generally are a bit varied at the moment. 53 plate 172 Cup prices have shot down to £7000 in several cases privately but at the same time Renault dealerships still seem to be shifting them for at least £9k. At the same time though the guide price in Parkers/Glass etc is somewhere...
Our local dealership advertises Dynamiques in the papers weekly but always displays a picture of a 172 everywhere! So be cautious, its probably rubbish
No way Renault are doing a Clio on 17s as standard.
I stuck around but didnt watch it, must have taken 45 minutes max and that included work on a non-urgent "recall" on the airbag.
I filled my screenwash right up (with the correct strength wash as well) an hour before the service, and the buggers emptied it out and refilled it, charging me in...
I rarely catch sight of it, its not exactly in an obvious position, much easier to see the whacking great rev meter not far from it if you want a visual clue to stop yourself hitting the limiter.
My front Cup seats are looking a bit shabby (ok, only a tiny bit, but they clearly arent built for wear, my Dynamique seats looked 10 times better after 4 times as many miles)
I just want some covers that fit nicely and dont look completely crap, but most Ive seen so far have been a bit iffy...
A couple of Clios about at the Ferrari Day today (which was hugely lacking in Ferraris, but more than made up for by the huge 31 car grid for the Saloon Car Championship, and the brilliant Alfas flying around.)
Anyhow, Red 172 (XX53 AAY) at Bobbies. Looked mint, although only 6 or 7 spaces...
Got a wave from a fellow Cup driver this morning (also with CUP on the end of the plate) about 8:40am on the new bypass near Melksham, unfortunately I was checking my rear view just as you came into view so I never got a chance to acknowledge you when I looked back round.
Anyway, my first...
Probably a Cup? Didnt see any Silver ones for ages then in the past few weeks Ive seen 3, two of which were for sale at Renault dealerships (Bournemouth and Trowbridge)
So in theory someone could knock out a nice LCD display with a GPS verified nice big clear speed reading on it for less than £50, as databases etc wouldnt be an issue. Surely there has to be a market for that?!
Just been thinking about this today, what is the easiest and cheapest way of getting a digital GPS speed-read out in your car? Im assuming no products just do this one task, so Im thinking it would have to be a GPS "black-spot" detector or Sat-Nav system that gives you a speed read-out anyway.
