Dynamiques were high-spec standard Clios with a slightly sportier set-up, the Extreme is the basic one iirc.
Do you have an uber-stripped Cup?! My Cup has a cigarette lighter and auto-wipers. Admittedly there is no way of getting the interior light on without opening the door, but thats part...
A3049 DC heading towards Bournemouth before Tower Park, its the last one before the Tower Park one, Focus (and a Ford garage iirc) is up on the right hand side near it.

If you are going straight on there is no need to give way, its a bit odd but it means you can take the...
hehe I know the one, I approached it with caution the first few times then realised you can just nail it straight over the roundabout without even easing off at 70mph, which is very odd when you think about it!
Yeah that seems to be the problem, massive difference in values on them which isn't making much sense to me. Seen some for less than a grand with sub-100k miles that looks tidy as hell, but also seen plenty pushing £2k with 100k+ miles that are modded and look a bit shabby. So immediately I...
Indeed, the Zetec-S is on 16s as well which obviously helps massively. Bit of a UK marketing bodge job with the ST I think, as other territories get 16s as standard on the ST.
Looking at £3700 minimum though if Autotrader is anything to go by, regardless of MPG I'm unlikely to recoup my initial investment for a long long time!
The Cup is going soon, that much is absolutely certain (doesn't make it any easier though, almost brings me to tears thinking about it!) so I'm thinking about whats next. Budget for the new motor is £2k with insurance absolute tops, I'm 23 with 5 years no claims (paying about £600 on the Cup) so...
Haven't really noticed any difference between the Cup and my previous Dynamique to be honest, doesn't seem to bad.
You should see a V6 try to turn around in a tightish space, now thats bus like!
I saw three in one day once and then during the same week spotted two more different ones. Find it hard to believe there are only 100 (feels more like 200), Platinum Renault have had two over the past year or so IIRC, they had one at Renault Poole when I had my service and during the Summer...
Erm the Trophy's developments were to make it even more suitable as a road car, so I think the Cup v Trophy vid is irrelevant, at those speeds on a circuit its down to the driver anyway...I was over 10 seconds slower round a short circuit than someone else in a as good as identical Cup...
Whats the deal with the parking there? Loads of pay and display signs but nowhere to actually pay, I assumed it was free out of season and didn't think anything else of it.
A mini-meet would be great, nice roads and loads of great photo opportunities, its all good! I don't think you would...
Its a real tight bend that goes off to the right in that pic, no markings because there isn't enough room for two cars.
No idea if the police hang around (although unlikely at 8am on a Sunday) but chances are you won't be doing anything illegal anyway, very rare that you get a stretch where...
Roads were great, you get the fun of the gorge then it just carries on and on (towards Bath as I figured out, as I got lost and eventually ended up there, quality!), a good 10 miles of completely clear twisty NSL stuff. Certainly something you can only do out of season though, it gets real busy...
I was hoping to pop down with Freebone at some point as well but I didn't think I would get much response on here when I decided to go at 6am this morning!
Been meaning to go down to Cheddar at some point, then today I wake up at 6am and can't get back to sleep. So off I go for a 100 mile trip into deepest darkest Somerset.
Apologies for the pic quality, the fog was only just starting to lift so they are a little hazy...
I would just like to confirm that he means I got a Cup, then his step-sister got a Cup, NOT that I got a Cup AND his step-sister! :o
Where is the third? I haven't seen that one yet. Agree though, I see more leaving the street (i.e. 1) than I usually will in a full days driving.
The Megane 225 Cup is £18,600, so if they price a smaller car with the same engine (but not turbo-charged) at only a grand or so less they will be commiting suicide, it won't happen. Just as putting significantly more power in the Clio was never going to happen, the Megane has 225bhp so they...
Who says its going to be £17k?
Everything I've read so far has it in line with the price of the current Trophy, i.e. £15,500. All the other new Clio's are generally a few hundred quid more than the model they replace, so if the Renaultsport stays reasonably true to that its sure as hell not...
lol at the "it needs lowering" posts, the Trophy is all about the suspension set up, thats what makes it a Trophy. No point in messing that up just so it looks nice (if low cars are your thing, not to my taste it has to be said)
Who buys a Clio and expects great service/great rattle free interior and all the rest though? Plenty of evidence here and everywhere else so there is no excuse if buying one and then realising the rubbish aspects to it.
I sure as hell didn't. I bought my 1.2 Dynamique because it was cheap to...
I have to say its a top bunch of lads in the SW and a good range of cars too, I wasn't ever bothered about meets and stuff as I went to RWS with Cliosport but never really spoke to many people. But I took the plunge and attended the airfield last year and everyone was spot on, and then the meet...
Regardless of ABS (or lack of) when I was test-driving last year I thought the Cup felt far more skittish in the wet and had a definate raw feel compared to a standard 172. I'm not sure what (if anything) causes this skittishness but from my experience its a slightly hairier ride than a standard...
Straight from the horses mouth, as it were...
"The entrance fee for the Drive4Life 2006 is £395. This is for a car plus two people. This fee is to cover the cost of hotels, legal costs and different venues where events will be held."...
Another good one, night time - lights on dipped, pull both window switches to close them (even if they are already shut) and it seems to have to route power away from your lights to get the window mechanism going, as the lights dim every time you touch the switches...
...at least on mine they...
Thats probably the MLF Cup from Trowbridge, thats a girl owner who I suppose could be good looking! Don't find her attractive because she does the whole fog and side lights thing, people who do that just don't appeal to me!
Surely it would be better if we only paid £150 each or whatever, then raised as much money for charity individually? Say with a minimum suggested target of a few hundred each.
