Its in bits again! Got some improvements to come, bought a new rad, a much bigger alloy one, think others on here run a similar one from a Mk3 golf + a new fan. Power steering is being swapped to an electric pump from a saxo/106 using the original rack. Also have some brake upgrades on their...
Been doing a couple of little bits this week, not as much as i'd hoped but the cars outside as i have a new kitchen taking up one side of the garage so cant get it under cover atm.
Sent my spare steering wheel off to 'snappy' for a retrim, black and blue leather with silver/grey stitching so...
That launch says it all for me, done in full auto, couldn't be less interested! It does sound ok but then so does a turbo megane with an exhaust on.

That trophy wasn't all it was cracked up to be, I was interested when it was on eBay a few weeks/months back. Wanted some money spent on it to bring it up to standard which means you might aswell spend more in the first place and get a sorted low mileage one. No receipt for cambelt change or...
Totally standard, even put the orange side repeaters back in today, has the original cassette player in it too, just going to get it back to as close to new condition as I can.

Couzens, would love to build an E36 M3 Evo Touring! Danny its Titanium, not a massive fan of iceburg on a ph1 tbh. Ive had x3 Titanium Ph1's now so another colour would have been nice but hey ho.
Russ
Bought yesterday as a runabout for the winter as i currently have no road going vehicle, looking for another BMW Touring but will find one come spring time.
Needs a few bits cosmetically, wheels refurbed, steering wheel retrim and interior trims repainted, the usual PH1 bits really. Going to...
Wasn't aimed directly at you tony but I can't believe people are so negative about racing with ex btcc production cars, I personally don't care what cars are on the grid in the series as long as the grids are healthy and there is some good racing. If it was down to me I'd like to see a class...
Lol at the ban all cars that will beat the clios. The 306's are production spec and I'm not worried about them in the French trophy just gives us some more competition. Look at the lap times of current running ex prod btcc cars before having a hissy fit, very comparable to a quick clio and Ian's...
The thing is its club racing not world championship I just don't see the point in deliberately breaking the rules whether they're relaxed or not.
As for next year hopefully my mate will be out in his ex btcc 306 and would be nice to get Carl chambers involved in his ex btcc 306 too.
Russ
Nice one tony, disappointed not to be there but so looking forward to FT next year if all the clios come out that are planning too + know of a few others that should be joining us in some different stuff that'll shake things up at the front. Roll on 2014.
Russ
Nice one mate, be awesome to finish the season with some silver wear especially if you're not going to race next season. Will be keeping an eye on tsl.
Russ
I'm not racing this weekend no, got a few bits I want to sort on the car and have it 100% ready for next season. I might pop along and say hello though. FYI its a 182 shell with 172 cup engine and running gear.
Russ
48mm jenveys on one of Sandys manifolds by the look of it.
Good to see you on here sandy and helping to develop engines and bits for the clios like you have done for years with the peugeots and other stuff.
Russ
Do any of the front hubs, be it 182/182 Cup give a wider track just by swapping the hubs? Only reason i ask is if Mark/James group buy goes through for the roll centre kit i'd need to have some hubs modified anyway and with that kit increasing the track by 5mm i thought that if the 182 hubs...
Love the race reports, need to put more effort into mine for next time! I was expecting 2 clios to be on me at any point during the race, you never came, I was praying for the last lap board every time around!
Russ
Yeah seems to run a touch cooler now mark and definately handles better since being setup even considering its on worn out r888's. Brakes need massive improvement though and really held be back in both races. Head might have to come off over winter as its smoking a fair bit on the over run which...
They're good pics tony, who took them? That 200sx done me a real favour, in that race. I had to have a lunge at him in race 1 into the second chicane, managed to outbrake him and get away on the last lap.
