Nearly ready to go, got the pas wired up and working as well the new Armtech battery cut off, hopefully it'll be more reliable than the cartec one I had last time.
Just need to connect 2 wires to the Dash2 to get the fuel level up and running and calibrate it with some fresh fuel.

Fingers crossed it'll be fine Tony, at least it showed its hand on a test day and not race weekend I guess. I assume its been helicoiled (or similar) previously and that's what's came away while removing the plug?

No probs, more than welcome sonny.
Swapped the 6rib for a 5 tonight, the 6 rub was just slightly rubbing the bottom cover so thanks for than Danny/tony/Morgan.
Started on the wiring yesterday too, should get it all done this week hopefully. Gavs the trailer a once over yesterday too as that...
Awesome result tony, like you say its not about the numbers it's how it drives + piece of mind I guess that it's been done properly this time. My previous ktec rollers comment was in response to Marks 600bhp estimate!

No probs mate, just thought i'd clarify anyway. Will check clearance on the belt again but havent noticed it catching while running it. No big deal if i have to swap it for a 5 rib.
Russ
lol, hopefully its not too powerful Jay, with a bit of luck Danny has just put the TDF map back on or limited it to 5k rpm. I would expect it to make 215bhp ish?

Not a massive polisher but the inferno looks really good. Just had to put a new battery on my Vee too after it sat outside for a few months and not on the trickle charger, hopefully get mine mot's and taxed this month too.

For reference i needed a new aux belt after removing the pas pump, measured using my favoured 'piece of string' method and ended up using a 844mm 6 rib Conti belt.

Some new pics, pas pump fitted and piped up.
New bigger alloy rad fitted with fan and all fixed and piped up.
Some housekeeping while it was in the air, tidied up the front bumper brackets that i had to hastily modify at Oulton last year when my wheels were rubbing, cut the rest of the...
Sorry for the rather short answer Morgan, They're B type calipers and am sure the 'standard' alcon kit from tdf/jet stream use H types which have a pad shape the same as a 206 gti and hence smaller than the standard 172/182. I appreciate pad size/area isn't everything but it makes a difference +...
Looking good mate, can't say I've noticed my fg bonnet flapping even with the underside cut out for the filter. It did an oulton when the bonnet pin came loose but that's another story!

Well managed to get the car back on its wheels tonight. Finished all the fabrication and machine work on the brakes and suspension, made some changes to the AST mounting holes on the front stuts so i can use the oe 14mm bolts and still get as much camber as i need. Managed to get my new hubs...
Just get out and race it this year mate, car looks ready to go and you'll learn alot more about your car racing it than on trackday and have a lot more fun. Have a look over on www.trackattackraceclub.co.uk at the Tricolor Trophy where a few of us from Cliosport race.

Someone's been let loose with the red paint and it looks grim! Plenty of far nicer standard or modified, if that's your thing, examples that I'd be looking at before that one.
