Put it back on its wheels tonight for the first time in ages. I've been undersealing all the arches, sills and floor area and repainting the calipers back to oe black (previously silver).
Threw a bucket of water over it tonight as it was dusty, that and some tire shine make it look a whole...
Thsnks mate, yeah I've spent a lot of time keeping it neat, tidy and simple. Sorry I didn't get to speak to you on the day, made an effort to speak to as many new drivers as possible but was hard trying to sort the car after quali too.
Russ
It was a touch slippery! I had a big moment at the bottom of craners with Ian right behind me in the race that was a bit scary too!
Mark, there's an arm that holds the tyres down too that I ratchet strap down, never ever moved even going to Germany at high speed!

Race 2
After the disappointment of race 1 I decided from the off to just keep cool and not do anything silly simon and the 205 got away and I just held station in 3rd until late on in the race when the other 205 snook past while some back markers blocked the track, never mind I thought I'll pass...
Sorry for the delay but I've been away all week since donington and not had a chance to get the report or the videos uploaded. Was a bit of a mixed weekend tbh as I had my laptop, wallet and Oakleys stolen from my car in the paddock on Sunday afternoon, hopefully the culprits will get their...
Shame about the tyres sonny I had similar symptoms later on in the race and I know others did too. Mixed weekend for me but great to see all the new runners in the series, excellent close racing all down the field. Will get my race reports up at the weekend.

Lol add up all the bits I bought While building it in the first place, money's not important when you dont intend to sell it! A quaife atb would be nice too.
Russ
You 'might' get away with it but it'll be close regardless as the pistons don't have cut outs in them + the tops are flat instead of dished like the j4 gti ones hence why yours had higher compression. IMO it doesn't need anymore power, some itbs would be nice for the noise but means putting it...
You'll struggle with cams on that motor mate unless you put pistons in aswell due to the closeness of the valve to piston and the shape of the top of the standard jp4 piston.
Russ
Its a c2/206 jp4 1.6 16v with 106 gti cams, pulleys and valve gear. 106 gti inlet manifold and ecu, stainless 4branch manifold and peugeot sport decat exhaust, should be 140-150bhp and quite torquey, built a few if those motors and it was certainly the quickest one I'd done.
Russ
I think tbh if they're used everyday they're fine, using them at weekends or dry days like I was didn't do it any favours. We had a standard white S1 on a 96 N years ago that my wife (then girlfriend) used as her daily and it never missed a beat. Enjoy it and keep us updated on here and if you...
Sorry mate I did mean to get back to you! Never mind, at least you bought. Its a great car, so many good times were had building it and using it as intended, just used to get to me that things would break or fall off it on a regular basis even though all I ever did was look after it!
Russ
What! That's my old car! Did you text me mate for details? I totally forgot, I meant to text the owner as I would have bought it back, loved that car! What's happened to it, saw on 106rr he'd had a prob with the gearbox or something.
Russ
I suppose for a piece of transportation that gets you from A to B it's ok but as something I'd want to buy with my own money and drive, no thanks.
Russ
Well doesn't look like I'll be racing at donington as the grid is now full for the Nippon/Tricolore race so unless Steve manages to get us a stand alone race I don't be there. Such s Shane as we could have potentially had 20+ cars on the grid due to the amount of entries still to come in.
Russ
Don't put spacers on it Craig they ruin it IMO, looks perfect as it is. My r26 had 25mm all round when I got it and was on kW v3's just looked wrong, far better on standard track width.
Russ
Not done a great deal with the car since Rockingham but seen as its only 3 weeks until donington thought if give it a check over. Had to replace the main fuel line as I had a small leak, looks like the pipe is nicked somewhere but can't actually see where, all sorted bow though. Apart from that...
