Sorry to post in the meets section, just looking for some local advice.
Does anyone know any well priced powder coaters or wheel refurbishes? Preferably north of Manchester and as close to Blackburn/Preston as possible.
Just need a set of steelies doing, so nothing fancy.
Cheers :)
This for that budget. I was looking at it the other day as my dad is after a new laptop.
I got my mum a similar spec HP about 18 months ago and it's a fantastic laptop. It's fast and still has good battery life. Streams HD fine, and is often used to watch online stuff on the TV via HDMI.
It's not normal phone insurance, it's through the house as an add on, I'm happy with a settlement.
Seen some deals:
new 5s £90 + £29.99 x 24 for the equivalent contract as I'm on. So thats a total of £810
Or, keep current contract at £18, which is £432 for 24 month, plus equivalent 5C...
Just got off the phone.
I have to send it back tomorrow to see if it can be repaired, and if not they'll ring me Monday to discuss the settlement which is apparently the cost of a replacement based on the prices on Apple's website. I'm pretty confident it's beyond economical repair so might...
The insurance are calling me in the morning to sort it out, it's new for old so the only options are 5C or 5S unless they can dig up some old 5 stock from somewhere. I'm hoping for a 5S, as thats technically the class of phone I had before but judging by the replies I guess a 5C would do...
Could anyone highlight any differences between the two?
I smashed my 5 in a car door today, it's buggered, I'm anticipating the offer of a 5C from our insurance and I wanted to know if there are any negatives over my old 5.
I know its plastic over metal but I don't mind that, any other...
A friend of mine has it on an old Triumph through Adrian Flux. He's 19 and pays just short of £700 iirc, seems a lot to me but still a lot cheaper than a normal policy for him, I think the cheapest he could get on a Corsa was £2k.

Apple changed my 5's battery FOC at 15 months old.
Personally I'm happy with the 5. If the 6 was just the 5 with a better battery I'd buy it. Had this discussion with friends yesterday and everyone is of the opinion that they are fast enough/do enough now, we just want better battery life.

Do you need 3D and voice?
I didn't so bought this (well the 42" version) about 6 months ago - http://www.johnlewis.com/samsung-ue40f5500-led-hd-1080p-smart-tv-40-with-freeview-hd/p587837
I've been very impressed, the smart features are excellent, great picture quality and looks good too imo.
My RB. I still miss it, 2.5 years since I made the stupid decision to sell it and now it's somewhere in the south of France, never to be seen again.

The raised plastic the kinect sits over should click into the bottom of the kinect. It's the wrong size so doesnt click in so your sensor is effectively just sitting on it rather than secured to it.
Well, each meet needs it's own thread.
List them in here first mate, just type of meet, location and date for us to see. It might be worth holding a couple back.
3-4 threads? Why?
Please don't do that, just post one thread and I can mass pm it. Otherwise no one will bother looking.
I'd suggest you come up with an idea yourself (inc the date). As soon as you give people options it becomes unmanageable as half want one thing and the other half the other.
