Anyone got a how to on fitting the scenic shifter to a 182? Searched but to no avail. Also is it better to bend it or shorten the linkage? Cheers Phil

Instead of PMS top mounts why not just get the BC's with the optional solid top mounts with camber adjustment.

Read the BC's are better on the CS plus you can get custom spring rates with them.

My advice get the OE part number from Renault and do a search in google as blueprint brands are a quarter of the price of the genuine part.

@OssPoop is that ABS pump the same number as the one i gave you? Also presume you've checked all the ABS rings? Mine came on AGAIN the other week just before Oulton and i was ready to plough the fuckin thing into a tree, then it just went off again and didn't return, fuckin stupid system on the CS.

Just get 4 new injectors from ECP and buy a used rail and bolts from someone breaking a car on here.

Just camber bolts mate, hopefully lowering it will gain a bit more.

Mine will be going on next weekend along with new cup dampers all-round, then hunter aligned with as much negative camber as possible as -2.5° just isn't enough as i still scrubbed the outsides of my fronts at Oulton.

Best way mate having 2 cars, I sold my 6MPS daily and with the money bought the Mondeo & Clio and it works out cheaper per month to run both than the Mazda (£500 tax & 20MPG over 12k miles a year)

Yeah that's my issue driving the big old squishy Mondeo daily and getting into the 182 just feels horrid, I've fitted a drivers Ghia X seat to the ST which is so comfy as well, which doesn't help the transition. Saying that getting in the BM from the Mondy also feels weird, not horrid but just...

On the road the CS is one of the worst cars I've ever driven as it's noisy, harsh, heavy steering, heavy clutch etc... On track it just all comes together and makes perfect sense and is one of the best I've driven....

Awesome, the CS defo needs a tad more low down grunt. Hopefully get this done before Aintree.

How much was the mapping session at EFI @Josh? Been contemplating it as its only 7 miles from me.

Ditch the 300mm discs and get the OE size (280mm) and some light weight 15" wheels (less un-sprung weight) and some decent tarmac rally tyres, DMAC seem reasonable and can be had part worn cheap enough on eBay. This set-up will also be much cheaper on consumables.

With the diffs then it sounds like you should just keep your foot in, i pressume it won't chuck the whole 80% to the rear with steering angle on and will vary it to get you back on line. Its just getting past that point where it slips and keeping on it. It took me ages to tame the 300hp MPS...

Presume you mean the scooby? If so i find AWD an odd one to drive on the limit as most tend to understeer then can snap into oversteer. Not the same drive train but in my old 6 mps you'd go in hot and lift of to pull the back around mid corner then once pointing in the direction you want to go...

Just looking at the trackday championship and they run clio 172 cups in class B which is 150hp/tonne and they're running 2:05 laps at Oulton so no chance they're detuned. @Steven_K is this the same as you're on about above?

I'd start with 25F/27R for the ring as its like an open road in parts so will cool quickly. @StuOwen86 don't suppose that was you who let me in on the Runcorn bridge last Tuesday after Oulton?
