It is fine to do, but remeber that water will seep into the plug holes and corrode the plugs. Dry them off after in my opinion to prevent that from happening
It looks quite thick i would be suprised if the plenum fitted onto that after. Doesnt seem to bad in my opinion but could just be the pics that doesnt show it that well.
My car has been running rough recently for quite a while (missing on cylinder 4) Anyway this was down the a HT lead arching which i resolved with a bit of tape. But yesturday started missfiring badly. So thought id pop down the K-tech and grab some leads so i did...
Anyway i got home to swap...
You would get a fine of £60 and 3 points if your just pulled over if they were cnuts
But if you crashed and hurt someone then you would be quite buggered then
Or if you get a nice policeman (you do get a few) they would say change it over tommorow etc...
I went through a ford about a foot deep in my old 1.4 as fast as i could cos i thought it would be funny. Wasnt so funny when my rear pasenger nearly drowned had to spend about 2 hours drying it all out!!! No engine damage though.
All the water came in through the fuel pump flap under the seat
Hmm, maybe next time just ask for the part and fit it yourself
I dont trust anyone to do anything to my car id much prefer do it myself (other than cambelt) Im really puzzled as to how those scratches got on the screen

These look the same as my existing ones in the pic but the engine code is wrong what do we think?
Or do i just go down k-tech on...
Wheres the cheapest place to buyfor a 182? Not overly bothered about 'Magnecore' ones but if ther're cheaper than OE....
Online or retail. One of mines buggered. Would my local 'Halfrauds' stock a set?
May i ask how paint will offer protection? You do realise that the exhaust will rust inwards - outwards? Not outwards - inwards...
No side effects but its pointless
I'v had my plenum off about 4 times still on the same seal no problem, seems a bit wasteful getting a new seal everytime if there is nothing wrong with the old one.
Driving today i got a tiny chip (size of the end of a pen) in the left hand side of my windscreen, as im not fully comp i was thinking of this kit here...
