I'd be very suprised if renault used that, they ussualy just use cheapo 10-40 weight
That will be fine although im sure a few people have complained saying it made it a bit tappy. Maybe im thinking of castrol i cant remember
I think there may be some truth there. Fair play to him I say, alot of companies do use his maps. Wheather they have permission is a different thing though!
Well said Andy, I personally wouldn't use it on a cammed car but I think it would be fine in a mildly modifed car.
Edit: In all fairness he does have maps for cams then you can send across the data logs for him toinvestigate and modifiy, they may be okay after some tweaking!
You havnt been around here long, research what others have said on here first (professional tuners) K-tech tend to lie about a few things like that. Dont believe everything you read. It aint gunna make 195hp or around without lumpy camshafts as said above.
Edit: thats PS not HP still not that...
Yeah your probably right to some extent! I still think rather than this, the best thing you can do is get an open cone and a straight tube over to the corner. You will need either a small race battery or stick the battery in the boot
This is something I want to try possibly at some point.
Probably the decat has triggered the emmsions light matey nout to worry about just take the second lambda out and plug it with a large bolt or something
KTEC are quite expensive if you ask me, I wouldnt chose to go there either after to speaking a former employee there
But of course he will be biased ;) There probably fine!
No problem glad to see it helps even a little
As franx says the engines are very tuned already so sqeezing more bhp out of them isnt easy without major engine work!!
not a great deal dont consider it cost effiecient
eibach sportlines
cotton panel filter
decat
brakes
Going to have a go at porting my inlet soon too (only as I have a spare now) + PTFE gaskets
