1. Everyone makes mistakes
2. Both companies seem highly regarded on here and have a good rep

In answer to the guys original query I would go to whatever is nearer!
Am I correct in thinking that the "Renault Type D" coolant is an OAT (Organic Acid) type antifreeze? Just dont fancy paying £30-40quid for the Type D and wondered if I could get hold of anything else? Any reccomendations?
that oil is fine! 5/40 better though
Shouldnt have let it run low though really but ah well!
I think the light only goes on when there no pressure (literally completely empty)
Normal 95 has detergent in also btw (or anti coking agents) whatever you want to call it. If your worried about your injectors clogging up then just make sure you give the car some abuse every now and then. You see so many diesels that plume the black smoke out when they boot it!!
Edit: your...
Its not about not being able to afford it I just dont see the point! Don't see sweet FA in smoothness or accel & if you do you a MUG!! (not talking about you my friend but other clio owners)
The car has a knock sensor! What do you think its there for?
Fair enough in a 102 ron import! but...
LOL I love all this, using 97 really isnt going to make a noticeable difference in a 1*2 You wanna do a series of tests get your mate to alternate fill ups so you dont know whats in it and see if you can tell the two apart. Its all in the head!
Leakdown test for the win homos
Edit: someone told me that its normal for pistons 1 and 4 to be down or up on pressure on the frenchies I can't remember which way unfortunately. The main thing to check is how much oil it drinks!
D-Type? please forgive me, do you mean diesel?
What CCs year is the engine etc...
If the readings increase on a wet test thats not a good sign though. But you are allowed a certain tolerance
Ah okay! Theres quite a lot of things it could be but in all honesty i doubt the plugs would be responsible. more likely a sensor somewhere. I'm thinking maybe a temp sensor or something but its hard to say on here!
Im actually gunna have a spare manifold soon, dont know if its worth pissing around with though. I'm also gunna try and make some PTFE gaskets with a scalpel and a few other bits and bobs only cost like £9 for 2 sheets so thought what the hell.
what do you mean by nice ride height?
But if you do a search you will find lots of info
Generally the best ones to go for are
eibach sportlines/prolines
or the apex!
